Print-Tested 3D Print Files, Photographed on the Build Plate

This is a library of free 3D print files you can download today — STL, OBJ, and 3MF, released under CC0. Every entry was designed in Meshy, printed for real, and photographed on the build plate, so the cover image shows a finished object instead of a render.

All files are released under CC0, so you can download, remix, and sell what you print with no attribution required. Each model is also checked for printability — watertight mesh, manifold edges, sane wall thickness — before it is listed. Every card leads with the maker's own photo of the finished print, so you see the object as it came off the plate before you commit filament to it.

Most entries also keep the AI concept image that started them, so the full line from idea to physical object stays visible. Browse by theme — Halloween, fall decor, desk organizers, chess and games, or figurines — download the STL, and print it yourself. Every download here was already printed by the person who made it, not merely rendered. Want to make your own? Describe it in a sentence or upload a photo and export a print-ready file in about a minute.

Free 3D Print Files — Frequently Asked Questions

Right here: every file on this page was designed and printed for real by a Maker Program creator, released under CC0, and free to download as STL or 3MF. If you want to compare other repositories first, see our roundup of the best free STL sites.

Every model here downloads as STL, 3MF, OBJ or GLB — pick the format in the card's download panel. STL is the format every slicer accepts; 3MF carries the same watertight mesh plus color and unit information, which makes it the better choice for multi-color prints. Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Cura and PrusaSlicer read all of them.

No subscription is needed. Browsing is open to everyone, and downloading takes a free Meshy account: the free plan includes a monthly allowance of community downloads, and Pro plans and above are unlimited. Click Download on a card, choose a format and the file saves right away.

Describe what you want or upload a photo in Meshy, and you get a watertight, print-ready model in about a minute — checked for holes and exported as STL or 3MF. Our step-by-step guide on making your own 3D print files walks through the whole flow, from idea to sliced file.

CC0 means the creator has waived all rights. You can download and remix these files and sell what you print, with no attribution required and no limit on quantity. Every model on this page is CC0; Meshy's account terms still apply to the platform itself.

Yes. Every model passes a printability check — watertight geometry, manifold edges and sensible wall thickness — and every cover on this page is a photo of the finished print, not a render. If a maker's print fails, the model doesn't appear here.

Join the Meshy Maker Program. Design a model in Meshy, print it, photograph the result and submit it for review. Featured entries use a real print photo as the cover, include a full description and pass the printability check. Makers are credited on every card and earn rewards for what they publish.
