Dave DeWalt shared thisWhen we first invested in Classiq a year and a half ago, we said we were at a pivotal moment in technology where quantum was moving from theory to reality. Turns out, that was only the tip of the iceberg. Congratulations to the entire Classiq team on making history today with your $2.3B acquisition by Intel - one of the largest quantum exits ever! NightDragon has been proud to be part of this ride. From a $100M round (the biggest round in quantum history at the time) to a big exit in less than two years, all while driving 400% YOY growth, closing multi-million-dollar deals, and building quantum centers of excellence around the world. Nir Minerbi, Amir Naveh, Yehuda Naveh, Ran Achituv and the entire Classiq team - you have built something powerful, and the impact you’ve made on this industry is incredible. This is just the beginning and we could not have been prouder to stand by your side at NightDragon!! Dorin Levi (Baniel) Ken Gonzalez Morgan Kyauk Amy De Salvatore Courtney Dombek

Dave DeWalt reacted on thisDave DeWalt reacted on thisThe agentic gold rush is here. So many startups, so many promises. But how do you know which ones you should trust with your time and money? I figured my Tarot approach wasn't good enough, so I asked the one and only, Dave DeWalt. He gave me an incredibly simple framework he uses to evaluate AI security vendors worth investing in. He calls it "the 4 Ts". Dave is a 4x CEO, founder, investor, and has held more than 40 board roles. He’s also advised four U.S. administrations on national security. I dunno about you, but I think we all have a lot to learn from him. In case you missed it, you absolutely must watch the full episode of Security Mondays with Dave. We dove into why the era of “defense in depth as we know it is dead, what “defense in motion", how to separate real innovation from vaporware, and much more. Watch on YouTube, Apple or Spotify. Dave DeWalt shared thisTruly humbled to be named alongside some of the incredible names on the 2026 NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Directorship 100 list. Looking at this list, I'm just honored to be in the room. I'm especially proud to have served on the Delta Air Lines board for 15+ years, and to now also serve on the Exelon board. Both companies have some of the best CEOs and boards in the world, and I learn from them every time we meet. A sincere thank you to Peter Gleason and the entire NACD team, who work hard to enable directors with the knowledge and judgment to guide companies through our complex world. That mission has never mattered more than in our world of AI, where technology is moving fast, but strong governance still leads to strong results. Congratulations to all my fellow honorees - including Richard Davis, George Vradenburg, Yvonne Wassenaar, and Ellen Zane who were recognized as Directors of the Year. Dave DeWalt shared thisWorking together across oceans and borders has never mattered more. The threats facing our world are escalating faster than at any point in our history and no single nation, company, or institution can meet them alone. Proud and honored at NightDragon to work with European Investment Bank (EIB), European Investment Fund (EIF), NATO, NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), NATO DIANA and many EU leaders at the EU Tech Summit in Luxembourg to tackle this challenge together. Real progress will take steps like mutual resilience, unified strategy, ratified policy, and a tech ecosystem that unites capital and capability across every border. That's the work ahead of us — and it's work we're honored to do together with our partners across Europe and secure our world for tomorrow. Markus Berndt Brandon H. Dave DeWalt shared thisA year ago, I looked out at the cyber and national security landscape and asked: how can we convene the world’s top Allied leaders and sit down together to collaborate better against our common adversaries? Beyond honored to have now hosted our second in-person Allied Cyber & National Security Leaders Roundtable this week in Washington DC, alongside Billington CyberSecurity and the McCrary Institute for Cyber & Critical Infrastructure Security. Bringing together the cyber and national security leaders from 15+ global Allied nations and more than a doze critical infrastructure and private sector leaders to discuss how autonomous cyber operations are changing how we secure critical infrastructure and how we as governments, industry, innovators, and investors can adapt to meet these new realities. The common theme: We need to work together. Threats and risks are escalating faster than ever before in history and attackers (in some cases) have the advantage. Only a common unified defense can withstand the threats. It starts with forums like this one, but it has to extend into how we operate every single day: sharing information, leveraging AI models responsibly, securing our supply chains, reducing vulnerabilities, and doing all of it across Allied borders, together. Thank you to the leaders from every nation and region who joined us - Australia, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, NATO, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, UK, Ukraine and the United States - and private sector industry leaders from American Electric Power, Exelon, GSK, NTT, Cohere, Snowflake, Check Point, Booz Allen Hamilton, GDIT, PwC, Carahsoft, NVIDIA and more! As well as to Thomas K. Billington, Frank Cilluffo and the NightDragon team who helped make this possible. Our mission and our work to secure our world for tomorrow continues! Thank you also to Carahsoft's Craig Abod, Brian O'Donnell, and Alex Whitworth for hosting the NightDragon team and our portfolio and partners for dinner to celebrate our great partnership! Matthew Carroll, Paul Martini, Matt Hartley, Chad Keefer, Regev Yativ, Chris Reid, Bill Donohue, Lynn Norris, Ted Bailey, Nadav Zafrir, Jonathan Zanger, Joe Ford, CISSP, Damon Cabanillas. Dave DeWalt shared thisWe've come to our fourth and final conversation in our NightDragon NightVision series with the leaders our nation has entrusted with its cyber defense. This one was a fitting close. Nick Andersen, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Acting Director, is driving the important work on how we better protect our nation - not only in cybersecurity, but also critical areas like emergency communications, infrastructure security, and physical security. That includes a lot of essential work behind the scenes, but also protecting high-profile events like the World Cup, the Super Bowl, and more! Thank you Nick for your service and for all the work you do and your partnership! Our nation is better for it. Take a watch or listen now here or across all major podcast platforms!

Dave DeWalt shared thisComing at you with the third episode in our four-part NightVision series with the important leaders shaping and securing our nation's cyber defense. This one was special. Katherine Sutton, Assistant Secretary in the United States Department of War, is rebuilding how the department fights. Cyber planned into operations from day one instead of bolted on after, purpose-built teams replacing the one-size-fits-all "cyber operator," and a new Cyber Innovation Warfare Center built to get industry tools into warfighters' hands without getting stuck in acquisition. Her first Black Hat, my twentieth. Getting to watch someone incredible reshape the domain this early in the job never gets old and deeply honored for the conversation! Watch here or listen on all major podcast platforms. Thank you Katie for joining me on NightDragon's NightVision show and all the important work you do to secure our nation!!

Dave DeWalt liked thisAs Cybersecurity Awareness Month wraps up, the reality is clear: security must be built into the architectural DNA of enterprise transformation. That’s why I am thrilled to join the Advisor Council at NightDragon. Whether leading enterprise cyber operations, scaling agentic AI stacks for 50,000 employees, or running zero-tolerance operations like the Antarctic Support Contract, the playbook is simple: rapidly diagnose the friction, mobilize the workforce, and deliver operational momentum at speed. Excited to partner with Dave DeWalt, Amy De Salvatore, and the NightDragon team to accelerate the innovators building the next generation of infrastructure and security. Check out the full NightFeature spotlight ➡️ https://lnkd.in/p/eTxUQ5_s #Cybersecurity #EnterpriseTransformation #Leadership #TechnologyIntoAdvantageDave DeWalt liked thisFor the latest feature in our NightFeature series, we are proud to spotlight Alexandra Guenther, SVP and CIO at Leidos! Alexandra operates at the intersection of practical technology and core business operations—spotting structural gaps others overlook, streamlining execution, and creating room for high-ROI innovation. As SVP and CIO, she leads global technology strategy for 50,000 employees, established Leidos' global CDAO organization, deployed a secure agentic AI stack, and built value-driven architectures that directly accelerate enterprise growth. Across her career, she has built 0-to-1 greenfield business lines, guided M&A execution on both sides of acquisitions, and led enterprise cybersecurity operations. Whether overhauling enterprise IT or directing the $2B+ Antarctic Support Contract—where she led 1,000+ personnel operating in zero-tolerance environments across global supply chains, facilities, and mission operations—her playbook is simple: rapidly diagnose the environment, mobilize the workforce, and deliver massive operational momentum at speed. Just as notable is her commitment to the next generation through board service, STEM education advisory, and community mentorship—including coaching an elementary robotics team. We are proud to recognize Alexandra's leadership and impact and are honored to have her as part of our Advisor Council! Amy De Salvatore Audrey Laginess

Dave DeWalt liked thisDave DeWalt liked thisSix years ago, we founded Classiq to build the software foundation for a new era of computing. Today, we have entered into an agreement to be acquired by Intel. Intel helped define the history of computing. Together, we intend to shape its future. By combining Classiq’s quantum software platform with Intel’s quantum technologies and manufacturing expertise, we aim to bring quantum computing to developers and organizations worldwide. We are deeply grateful to Lip-Bu Tan and Pushkar Ranade for the trust they have placed in Classiq and our team, and for their belief in what we can build together. To our incredible team, customers, investors, and partners: thank you for making this possible. The next chapter is our most ambitious yet.

Dave DeWalt liked thisDave DeWalt liked thisOur CEO Ted Bailey and CFO Tiffany Buchanan were at Morgan Stanley’s Spark Private Company Conference recently, an invitation-only gathering of top executives from more than 100 private companies looking at what comes next for AI. Ted spoke on the panel “Technology in Public Safety, National Security, and Defense,” alongside Garrett Langley, Founder and CEO of Flock Safety, and Matt Santangelo, CFO of Vantor. The panel explored how the line between commercial technology and national security is blurring as governments move toward software-defined, AI-powered systems, and how real-time intelligence and autonomy are giving rise to a new class of defense and public safety technology companies. In that shift, the advantage goes to the decision-makers with the clearest real-time picture of what is happening. Thank you to Morgan Stanley for hosting an incredible event. #MorganStanley #Dataminr #AI

Dave DeWalt liked thisDave DeWalt liked thisDespite the rain last Thursday, the Bay Area cyber community showed up! 💫 At SHACK15, I had the privilege of moderating three of the industry’s stars for a provocative conversation about a new predicament we find ourselves in: we’re no longer just defending against insider threats. We’re building them, giving AI agents unprecedented access, autonomy, and trust. What could possibly go wrong? The inspiration for the evening came from NightDragon advisor Camille Stewart Gloster, Founder and CEO of CAS Strategies, and her timely, best-selling book, The Insider You Built, which challenges us to rethink trust, risk, and accountability in an increasingly autonomous world. Joining Camille for the discussion were Jason Clinton (J C.), Deputy CISO at Anthropic, and Snehal Antani, CEO and Co-Founder of NightDragon portfolio company Horizon3.ai. Thank you to all three for an insightful conversation that continued well into dinner. And Camille, congratulations on the success of your book! A special thank you to World Wide Technology and Horizon3.ai for their partnership and support. It was also great to see so many of our advisors and friends come together for the evening, including Ramy Houssaini, Elwin Wong, Gary Hayslip, Vitaliy Panych, Kate Bell, Gary Gauba, Karen Chiang, Brandon H. Le Tran, Chris Konrad, Steph Tatti, and Evan Stewart. And of course, a huge thank you to Audrey Laginess and Sarah Kuranda Vallone for making the magic happen! 🌟 Sonja Petri, David Affonso, Amara Okoli, Jassum Gloster, Newton Campbell Jr., Ph.D., Andres Botero, Howie Koh, Razmik Abnous, Ellie Gersten, Alexa Fedyukova, SHADAAB KANWAL,, Robert Parker, Dave DeWalt, Morgan Kyauk, Ken Gonzalez, Shawn Mucklai, Tony Chow, JJ Young, Audrey Moulton #Cybersecurity #AgenticAI #AutonomousEra

Dave DeWalt liked thisDave DeWalt liked thisToday at GTC Berlin, NVIDIA named Armada as a partner for the NVIDIA DSX Pod reference design. Built at the speed of light, more intelligence per watt, less time to token. We also announced we're building fully integrated superintelligence factories with Johnson Controls on NVIDIA Vera Rubin. In fact we’ll be building 500MW of sovereign SI capacity in 2027. As NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang put it today: in the world’s largest infrastructure buildout, we have to build it right. And with power limiting how much capacity a factory can produce, NVIDIA DSX POD is the next click of computing. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/ewwKdfjS

As AI tools change the speed and scale of cyber conflict, human judgment, expertise, and real -world experience matter more than ever. In this week's episode of the Cyber Focus podcast, Frank Cilluffo sits down with Chris Jones, Chief Technology Officer at Nightwing and a former senior CIA technology leader, for a conversation on AI, cyber defense, intelligence operations, space systems, and the workforce behind national security technology. Jones discusses why AI may give attackers a short-term advantage, why many cyber incidents still come down to defensive discipline, and why the most effective uses of advanced technology depend on skilled people who know how to apply it. What makes a mission “high consequence”? The answer is not simply the technology involved. It is the impact of failure. High-consequence missions require resilient systems, trusted teams, informed decision-making, and the ability to operate through disruption. They sit at the intersection of cybersecurity, national security, advanced technology, and mission execution. In this work, technical capability matters—but so do leadership, culture, partnerships, and a clear understanding of the customer’s mission. These are the issues I will continue exploring here: how organizations prepare for emerging threats, build resilient teams, integrate technology responsibly, and deliver outcomes when the stakes are highest. #NationalSecurity #Cybersecurity #MissionTechnology #Leadership #Resilience

Cybersecurity is now recognized as a defining area of national competition. The White House's new Cyber Strategy for America underscores that protecting cyberspace is now fundamental to economic resilience, military readiness, and global leadership. For those of us working on the front lines of national security, this strategy reflects the reality we see every day. Three themes stand out: First, credible cyber deterrence must raise the cost for nation-state adversaries and criminal networks. Second, technology leadership matters. AI, quantum innovation, and resilient networks will shape this next era of cyber advantage. Third, public-private partnership is a decisive factor. Most critical infrastructure sits outside of government, making collaboration essential. At Nightwing, we work alongside government partners every day to protect critical missions and defend national infrastructure. We're ready now to turn strategy into operational advantage. https://lnkd.in/dpMyStrW #CyberSecurity #NationalSecurity #CriticalInfrastructure

Check out the brains in the room. Literally. Nightwing brought the neon squishy brains to CPS3 today, but the real takeaway was sharper: cybersecurity takes people who can think faster than the threat moves. And that’s exactly why Nightwing belongs in this room. National security work is not built on buzzwords. It’s built on teams trusted by the nation’s top agencies like Nightwing to outpace, outmaneuver, and stay ahead of what comes next. Today at CPS3, their table said it perfectly: Bring the brains. Read the threat. Protect what matters. Thank you to Nightwing for exhibiting at CPS3 and adding some smart energy to a room full of serious cyber-physical security conversations. 🧠
