The engine translates an optimized logical program into an architecture-aware implementation: laying out protected qubits, routing their interactions, scheduling operations, accounting for quantum error correction, and costly resources such as T gates and magic states. From the resulting execution plan, users can evaluate physical qubit requirements, error-correction cycles, code distance, runtime, accumulated error, and more. The goal is to answer a much more practical question: What will it actually take to run this application reliably on a fault-tolerant quantum computer? From high-level Qmod models, to optimized logical programs, to understanding their physical feasibility, Classiq is extending quantum software engineering into the fault-tolerant era. Oracle evaluated a financial option-pricing circuit ranging from 28 to 32 qubits using Classiq’s quantum software platform for circuit synthesis, NVIDIA CUDA-Q for execution, and an NVIDIA A100 80GB Tensor Core GPU in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). A 28-qubit statevector contains approximately 268 million complex amplitudes, while a 32-qubit statevector contains approximately 4.3 billion. The raw statevector requires approximately 2 GiB at 28 qubits and 32 GiB at 32 qubits. These cases fit within the memory capacity of the tested NVIDIA A100 80GB GPU. • 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀: At 28 qubits, execution completed in 2.2 seconds. At 32 qubits, it completed in 22.1 seconds. This represents an approximately tenfold increase in execution time for a sixteenfold increase in statevector size. • 𝗚𝗣𝗨 𝘃𝘀 𝗖𝗣𝗨: GPU execution was approximately 120 times as fast as the CPU configuration at 28 qubits and 77 times as fast at 29 qubits. The relative speedup narrowed as the qubit count increased. • 𝗦��𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Across the tested range, execution time increased approximately linearly with relative statevector size. Statevector simulation is commonly constrained by memory capacity and data movement. Once data movement becomes the dominant bottleneck, adding compute resources alone may provide limited benefit. At 33 qubits, the raw single-precision statevector would require approximately 64 GiB, leaving less capacity for simulator workspace and other overhead. Larger simulations may require distributed multi-GPU execution or different numerical representations. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 The immediate extension is a 36-qubit QAOA portfolio optimization workload on a DGX A100 node on OCI. That run takes about five hours of wall time because it is a hybrid QAOA loop with 15 outer iterations of COBYLA and 16,384 shots per sampling call. It uses the NVIDIA cuQuantum Appliance distributed across eight A100s. This benchmark is a technical demonstration. Last Monday, Intel acquired Classiq. The biggest acquisition in quantum so far. People might call a moment like this a finish line. From where I’m standing it looks more like the end of the first step. The past four years have been a great adventure, alongside everyone at Classiq. I got to work with some of the best partners in the quantum industry, and I learned a lot from every one of you. Thank you for the trust and the good collaboration. Thank you Nir Minerbi, Amir Naveh, Yehuda Naveh, Simon Fried and Shai Lev for the great ride so far, and everyone else at Classiq I haven’t named here. No ending in sight. There's a category of clinical problem I think about often that we still do not have good answers for, not for lack of knowledge, but lack of computational depth. The kind of modeling complexity that sits underneath questions like: How does this patient's biology interact with this treatment? What's the earliest detectable signal in this imaging sequence? How do multiple disease pathways interact in a single patient over time? Classical computing gives us approximations, good ones, increasingly, but still approximations. The reason the Classiq acquisition caught my attention is that quantum methods are designed for exactly this category of problem: foundational computational capability that has not yet met the right clinical questions. Early conversations between capabilities like Classiq's and a clinical environment like Assuta's feel important for that reason. I'm curious about what happens when they connect. We’ve been working with Bpreven at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, as they begin clinical collaboration through Shaare Zedek Scientific (Madait). Bpreven is developing AI-based solutions for early detection, prevention, and personalized support for individuals at emotional risk. Their platform combines smart questionnaires, real-time insights, and adaptive AI-driven conversations to help organizations, communities, and care professionals identify emotional distress earlier and respond in a precise and effective way. As part of the collaboration, Bpreven is preparing for a joint study in the rehabilitation department, examining the impact of their solution in a clinical environment and strengthening the connection between technological innovation and hands-on medical practice.
