/ How we build
We use standard Odoo 19 wherever it fits and build only for real gaps, so you pay less and upgrades stay simpler.

We confirm your production type, company, hosting and users first, so the project is sized and priced before building starts.
ResultA sized, agreed scope. We set up standard Odoo 19 first, from sales to production, quality and stock, using proven features before any custom code.
ResultA working Odoo 19 system. You pay only for real gaps. We build what standard Odoo can’t do, like outsourcing one step, shop-floor labels and yield-loss tracking.
ResultOnly the custom work you need.Your team tests the full operation with us, then we go live on Odoo.sh, Odoo’s managed cloud hosting.

Know the cost up front and get your shop floor running on Odoo.
No budget surprises: your Phase 1 cost is fixed before work starts, with custom work priced only for real gaps.
Fixed-price Phase 1Your special processes are covered: outsourcing single steps, tracking yield loss and printing shop-floor labels, beyond standard Odoo.
Step-level outsourcingFind problems fast: trace any batch to its materials and heat number.
Batch + heat-number trackingLess paperwork on the line: workers use tablets, scan barcodes, log repairs and see live performance numbers.
Tablet shop-floor controlPay only for your production type: discrete, process or hybrid, on one common base.
Discrete · Process · Hybrid/ Scoped to your complexity
Every plant gets the common setup. Add Discrete, Process or both, so you pay only for how you actually make things.
For assembled or machined products. Plan every part and step, from components to final assembly, across your work centers.
For recipe, batch or heat-based production. Formulas scale with batch size and track by-products and co-products.
Run discrete assembly and batch production side by side on one platform, with all three groups included.

/ Questions, answered
Straight answers about Odoo for manufacturing, before you book a call.
For many discrete, process and hybrid manufacturers, yes: production, quality, maintenance, stock and accounting run in one system instead of several. We still check the fit first, confirming what standard Odoo covers and naming any gaps before we build anything.
Every plant gets the common setup. Assembled or machined products fit Discrete; recipe, batch or heat-based production fits Process; plants that do both take Hybrid. Optional add-ons, from Field Service to inter-company, let you grow later.
Yes. Odoo tracks the cost of each manufacturing order from its parts and operations, and feeds it into accounting in real time, giving you a starting point for profit by product.
The package is built on Odoo 19 and runs on Odoo.sh, Odoo’s cloud hosting. Odoo 20 came out in September 2026; if you’re weighing it, raise it at scoping so the version is settled before setup starts.
Odoo Manufacturing, also called Odoo MRP, is Odoo’s app for planning and running production. It shares one database with sales, buying, stock and accounting, so every team works from the same production numbers.
Odoo’s material requirements planning (MRP) schedules manufacturing orders and work orders automatically, based on stock forecasts, buying rules and the parts each product needs. Planners see the schedule on a timeline and can adjust any step by hand.
A manufacturing order covers one production run, based on the bill of materials (the product’s parts list). Work orders split it into the steps done at each work center, which workers record as they go.
Yes. A bill of materials can sit inside another, so parts are made from their own parts list. In the accelerator, discrete plants get multi-level lists with work steps, and process plants get formula and batch lists with by-products.
Odoo plans work at each work center based on its capacity, and a timeline chart shows where a line is overloaded. You spot bottlenecks before they put delivery dates at risk.
The master production schedule shows forecast stock and demand so planners can set longer-term production plans. Odoo designs it for sales and operations planning meetings, so sales and production agree on what to make.
You set the steps where checks happen, and Odoo creates them automatically. A failed check can stop production, and recurring problems can become engineering changes that fix the root cause.
Odoo PLM (product lifecycle management) keeps product and parts-list versions with their change requests and documents, and controls who can approve a change. In the accelerator it sits in the production core with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Repair.
You can make products in lots or with serial numbers and follow every part forward and back from one report, including the raw materials used. The accelerator adds heat numbers, so every stock move is traceable.
The Shop Floor app is Odoo’s tablet screen for the production line. Workers see their jobs, follow instructions, record output, scan lots or serial numbers, and raise quality or maintenance issues on the spot.
Yes. Odoo’s IoT box (a small connector device) links barcode printers, measuring tools and machines, and barcode scanning speeds up work and cuts errors. For shop-floor labels, the accelerator uses our in-house PrintNode connector.
Planned maintenance can be triggered automatically, breakdowns can be logged from the work center, and a calendar and failure statistics keep equipment planning visible. The accelerator sets up both planned and breakdown maintenance.
Yes. Standard Odoo handles subcontracting, including sending parts to a subcontractor. When a plant sends just one step of production to an outside supplier, the accelerator adds this as a targeted extension.
The main trade-off is custom code. Custom modules must be carried forward at every major upgrade, and Odoo releases a new version every year (version 20 in September 2026). That’s why the accelerator uses standard Odoo first.
Both. Odoo is a full ERP: a suite of business apps covering CRM, online sales, accounting, stock, point of sale and projects. In the accelerator, CRM, Sales, Purchase and Accounting surround Manufacturing.
