Brainvire Drives ERP Modernization for The Food Bank Singapore with Seamless Odoo 19 Upgrade

Brainvire, an AI-led full-stack enterprise partner, has completed a major Odoo ERP Implementation upgrade for The Food Bank Singapore Ltd. (FBSG). The 5-month engagement transitioned FBSG from its existing Odoo 15 ERP solution to Odoo 19, delivering a modernized platform that streamlines warehouse operations, automates donor and beneficiary management, and powers food distribution to eradicate food insecurity across Singapore.

Established in 2012, The Food Bank Singapore collects surplus food from manufacturers, retailers, and distributors to feed communities in need through its extensive charity network. Having originally deployed an Odoo 15 ERP solution with Brainvire to centralize inventory, FBSG required an ERP modernization initiative to scale its impact, improve system speed, and adopt Odoo 19’s advanced architecture.

• Enhanced Donor 360° Management: Integrated Donor 360° views provide a consolidated, single-pane summary of donor-related records and contribution histories.
• Inventory and Warehouse Workflows: Upgraded stock management, picking, delivery, and shipment processing workflows accelerate real-time food dispatch.
• Multi-Item Barcode Scanning: Multiple-item scanning capabilities streamline warehouse productivity, simplify shipment preparation, and eliminate manual data entry.
• Custom Quantity Allocation: Tailored allocation logic guarantees accurate, fair distribution of donated food items to beneficiary partners based on real-time stock levels.

The migration also updated FBSG’s Helpdesk, Project, and Timesheet tools to optimize internal staff collaboration. Following rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and dedicated hypercare support, the transition was completed seamlessly, earning praise from FBSG leadership for its clean go-live execution.
