/ About the client

Free Advertising App

The client is a well-known, established business firm that set out to lower the cost of advertising by launching a free platform for businesses. It pushes offers and deals directly to customers and helps businesses promote products and services.

The app serves three main users: owner, admin or vendor, and user. The owner grants vendors permission to place ads, vendors track user activity and tailor offers, and users register with favorite businesses to see the latest deals in one dashboard.

/ The approach

Design, architecture, and features, shipped as one program.

/01Sync

QR codes, kept current

A QR code sync keeps vendor updates flowing, so offers stay accurate and easy to track.

/02Features

Room to grow

We built the app to take on the add-on features the client wanted, without a rebuild each time.

/03Templates

Offers made simple

A flexible template system lets vendors set validity windows and redemption conditions on the offers they place.

/04Engagement

A reason to come back

Two-way login and personalized offers keep users connected to the businesses they follow.

/ What stood in the way

Synchronizing the QR code

Tracking and acquiring vendor updates was difficult. We synchronized the QR code so vendor updates stay current and easy to follow.

Adding new features

The client wanted to add more to the app over time. We built it to incorporate additional features cleanly as needs grew.

Managing fixed templates

Fixed templates were tough to manage. We made template use effective, so vendors place and adjust offers with less effort.

Keeping users engaged

The client wanted to stay connected with users. We added two-way login and activity tracking so offers reach the right people.
