Oren Kaniel shared this"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." (Martin Luther King) Fifteen years ago, we took the first step on one belief. Attribution and measurement had to be independent, unbiased, and trusted. Like a referee. We did not see the whole staircase. We just knew the first step mattered. 2011 - We just wanted to help app developers succeed. One belief. The first step. 2014 - Round A. 14 people, 1 office. The belief held. 2017 - Round C. 220 people, 13 offices. The belief was tested, again and again. It held. 2020 - Series D. We became a unicorn. When iOS 14 changed the industry, we chose the ecosystem over short-term revenue, and found a path forward where privacy, accurate measurement, and a great user experience could all coexist. Many called it a feature. We knew it was our superpower. 2026 - Today, that belief became the foundation. We have signed a definitive agreement for investment from Moloco, Google, Meta, and Unity to advance independent measurement for the AI era. Independent. Here to stay. Neutral infrastructure, serving the entire ecosystem equally. We have always believed in a better and safer digital experience for everyone. Better attribution. Better signals. Better ads. A better internet, one where advertising creates value for everyone. We still can't see the whole staircase, but we are confident that this deal is a major step toward that vision. To the AppsFlyer team, past and present, and to every investor who believed in us at every step of the way: you showed up through every shift this industry threw at us. You made the hard, right call, year after year, for fifteen years. None of this, none of it, happens without you. “Given the right circumstances, from no more than dreams, determination, and the liberty to try, quite ordinary people consistently do extraordinary things” - Dee Hock, Founder of Visa. And, we are only 1% done. Read my blog post here: https://lnkd.in/dywmEetj

Oren Kaniel posted this“Who is doing this for the web?” That was one of the first questions investors asked us back in 2012 when we started AppsFlyer. At the time, the answer was complicated. The web already relied on a massive amount of workarounds. A complete wildwest of Cookies, pixels, fragmented user journeys, disconnected systems and growing data inconsistency. Hundreds of cookies and pixels sitting on every website. Data flowing everywhere. No privacy. No consolidated data. No real understanding of the customer journey. No real attribution and measurement. Somehow it worked. But the world did not fully understand what it was losing by not having proper, unbiased, and independent measurement and attribution across the ecosystem. Over the last 15 years, that complexity only grew. Multiple browsers. Multiple devices. Privacy changes. Signal loss. Walled gardens. More fragmentation. More noise. Ironically, the lack of cookies on mobile apps pushed the ecosystem to build something MUCH better. Something completely different. The mobile ecosystem evolved toward approaches that are significantly more organized, more accurate, independent and neutral referee, privacy-centric than the old world of uncontrolled data sharing and endless third-party cookies and pixels. It was not surprising that over the last two years, one request kept coming up again and again from customers, partners and the entire ecosystem: “When are you going to bring AppsFlyer to the web?” Today feels like a full-circle moment. With the launch of ‘AppsFlyer for Web’, brands, advertisers, and platforms can finally connect the dots in a more accurate, privacy-first, independent, and unified way across all digital experiences - cross device platforms and browsers. This is not just about better measurement. It’s about creating a better and safer digital experience for consumers: • Consumers get more relevant experiences and value • Brands get better understanding and optimization • Platforms and networks can operate more efficiently • The ecosystem becomes more private, trustworthy, and transparent We believe the future should be connected again. Responsibly. Privately. Intelligently. Excited for this next chapter. 1% DONE ✅

Oren Kaniel shared thisSome people you meet in life and, in hindsight, it feels a bit like love at first sight. I met Eran Lefler in my first real job. It was a large company, and still, I noticed him right away. We became friends quickly. Looking back, that was the beginning of a journey that shaped my life in ways I could not understand at the time. Even then, I remember thinking something very specific about Eran. He acted like a founder. Not because someone asked him to. Not because it was his title. Simply because of who he is. The dedication. The ownership. The all-in mentality. The care. Years later, when we started to scale AppsFlyer, I did not yet know exactly what we needed. I didn't know what the org structure should look like or which roles we would need. But I did know one thing: I needed an Eran Lefler with us. On paper, it wasn't obvious. Eran was coming from R&D, a very different beast. But I was not thinking about titles. I was thinking about impact, trust, and the kind of person you want next to you when you are building something without guidelines. Thankfully, Eran made that move. Over the next decade, he did far more than take on a role. He helped build the company. AppsFlyer would not exist as it is today without Eran. Not just because of what he built. Because of how he did it. All-in, thinking like a founder, every single day. That is what it looks like when someone decides that something like a title is not what defines their impact. Eran has been one of the most impactful people in my life, professionally and personally. I am grateful to call him a friend and a partner. Good luck in everything that comes next, Eran. Keep making us proud. Eran: You changed my life. You changed this company. You helped define what founder mindset and all-in mean at AppsFlyer, long before we had words for it. I will be thankful for that for the rest of my life. ❤️ Thank you for everything, Eran. 🙏🏻 1% done, OrenOren Kaniel shared this11 years. 1% done. 100% satisfaction. Last week, I closed a defining chapter. After nearly 11 years at AppsFlyer, I am stepping down as COO. When I joined Oren Kaniel and Reshef Mann, we were a $15M company. Today, at over $500M ARR, AppsFlyer leads its category by a wide margin. But it wasn't always this way. This success didn't happen by accident; it happened because of an extraordinary concentration of ambitious, high-quality people who worked tirelessly for years. AppsFlyer has been my University. It’s where I earned the education no MBA program could have given me. Here, I was challenged, I evolved, and became my better self. I couldn’t have done this anywhere else, and the hardest part of this transition is realizing I won't be side-by-side with my colleagues on this journey anymore. After such a fulfilling decade, I'll have to learn who I am without AppsFlyer. I'm stepping into that with the same energy that brought me here, and I'm genuinely excited for what comes next. To my partners in leadership, my global colleagues, and my incredible team: my success is a direct reflection of yours. My deepest gratitude for the years of collaboration and the "all-in" partnership that defined our scale. You were the brothers and sisters in arms I shared every victory and setback with, and our unity during the toughest moments proved that when we align for the good of the company, we are unstoppable. To my team specifically, I am so proud of our pursuit of excellence. If I pushed too hard or created stress along the way, know it was never personal; it was a relentless desire to do what was best for the company and to see you reach your full potential. Never stay in your comfort zone; keep challenging yourselves. Oren, our journey was about turning dreams into reality. We did it. Thank you for giving me the freedom to build, dismantle, and lead. While I focused on the operations, you led us with an incredible ability to shine in the hardest moments. The trust you placed in me changed my life. I am leaving at the highlight of my career, feeling humbled, grateful, and incredibly proud. AppsFlyer will always be home. 1% done… 100% satisfaction!

Oren Kaniel shared thisIncredible insights that came from real struggle and insane scale all the way from zero. Lessons to carry forever. No book or class can teach that. Thank you Sergey Raichman 🙏Oren Kaniel shared thisFrom employee #35 to $500M ARR. I joined AppsFlyer in 2014 as the 10th R&D hire. What started as a leap of faith turned into one of the most meaningful journeys of my life. We’ve come a long way not just in scale, but in how we built. And through the highs, lows, pivots, and late-night war rooms, a few things stuck with me: 1. The best outcomes didn’t come from the smartest people - they came from teams that trusted each other and weren’t afraid to push back. 2. Real trust isn’t built during offsites or all-hands. It’s built when someone screws up, and you back them anyway. 3. Letting go of control is uncomfortable. But if you want people to truly own something, you have to give them space and then get out of the way. 4. Every shortcut we took came back to bite us. Every time we did the harder, longer, more annoying thing, it paid off. 5. Some of the most pivotal moments came from saying what no one wanted to hear. Not because I had the answers, but because silence would’ve cost more. What got us here wasn’t just product-market fit or execution. It was leadership that knew how to build trust. It was a culture where people felt safe to show up fully, speak their minds, and take ownership. That’s not a perk - it’s a strategy. Grateful to be part of this. Excited to see what’s next. #AppsFlyer #500MARR #Leadership #Trust #Culture

Oren Kaniel shared thisYesterday, we crossed $500M in ARR. Here are a few principles that made the impossible, possible: 1. Revenue is an outcome, not the goal We never chased revenue directly. We focused on delivering real value to customers, partners, and the ecosystem. Revenue followed. 2. Customer obsession as a decision filter Every decision came down to two questions: Is this the right thing for our customers? Does it make us proud? 3. People obsession enables customer obsession Our product is mission critical. You cannot build that without trust. And you cannot earn that trust without taking care of your people first. 4. Independence and neutrality build trust Saying no is sometimes the hardest choice. In the long run, independence and neutrality are the foundation of trust. 5. Turn disruption into advantage iOS14. Privacy shifts. Platform changes. Short-term pain. Long-term strength. Those moments enabled collaboration and deep partnerships across the ecosystem. 6. Privacy and security as strategy, not compliance Privacy and data security were never a checkbox. They became a core product and business advantage. 7. Stay expert, keep a beginner’s mind “In the beginner's mind there are infinite possibilities, but in the expert's mind there are few" - Zazen Be market leaders. Stay curious, stay humble. 8. Focus on today, not the finish line - "make it work, then make it better" If we tried to plan our way to $500M, we would have failed. We focused on doing the best possible work today, everyday. 9. Never give up There were many reasons to stop. We didn’t. Consistency compounds. 10. Let the dream grow with reality Dream big. Make it real. Then expand the dream again. Thank you to the team, our customers, partners, investors, and the entire ecosystem for the trust over all these years. We’re just getting started! 1% done 💥

Oren Kaniel liked thisOren Kaniel liked thisAgents won’t fail because they aren’t smart enough. They’ll fail because nobody uses them. That was the core idea behind my talk at our first AI Ops Ship & Tell, where I presented GTM Co-Pilot, the platform we’re building at AppsFlyer, for our go-to-market teams. Every team is building AI agents right now: meeting prep, call follow-ups, deal insights, and more... Each one does real work. But picture a year from now, when every one of them ships. Dozens of agents, each pinging the same rep, each waiting to be remembered. So we asked a different question. Not “what else can AI do for reps?”, but “how does any of it actually reach them?” Our answer: one place where every GTM agent works for you. One platform that decides what deserves your attention right now. The biggest lesson so far? Making AI smart is no longer the hard part. Making sure it reaches people, at the right moment, with a clear next step, is. For us, adoption isn’t a rollout plan. It’s the product. None of this happens on its own, and I want to say a sincere thank you to the people behind it: Lior Talmor, who has been building this with me from day one. Lior is the real genius behind the platform. Every idea we sketch on a whiteboard, he somehow turns into something that works. Alexandra Potchter, my business partner on this journey from the very first “what if…”. Alexandra helped dream it, initiate it and shape it, and her vision is in every corner of the product. Raz Ronen, the data magician who built the brain the platform runs on, actively maintaining the prompts the agents rely on within our internal MCP. Danielle Annis, who helped move the needle and connect the dots, pushing the product all the way to production. If your building something similar, or facing the same challenges with AI, I'd love to talk, share and learn together. #AIOps #GenAI #AIAgents #GTM #ProductManagement #CoPilot #BizApps

Oren Kaniel liked thisOren Kaniel liked thisRecorded a podcast with Elissa Brown at AppsFlyer recently. It turned into one of my favorite conversations this year! We covered the Q4/Q5 stretch, why acquisition and retention teams keep talking past each other, and what I tell every founder who shows up with a growing app and no measurement foundation. If you run growth, marketing, or product for a mobile app, this one’s worth the twenty minutes. The full episode is live on AppsFlyer’s YouTube - https://buff.ly/a7ovzde What’s the one thing you wish more brands got right before scaling?

Oren Kaniel liked thisOren Kaniel liked thisReddit, Inc.'s CEO said on the earnings call that Google's AI Mode “does not drive traffic... It used to be a traffic driver. Now it’s not.” Many brands are shifting more focus and investment into app as web referral traffic disappear. AI chatbots are quickly becoming a growing source of app installs and re-engagements that many are not accounting for. If you can’t see that path, you can’t measure it. If you can’t measure it, you can’t budget for it. The next stretch of app growth will go to the teams that can attribute installs & app activity starting in a chat. They’ll move spend to what works. Everyone else keeps funding last year’s funnel and wonders why the numbers drift.

In a world where AI agents can mediate discovery, your brand visibility is under constant pressure. But there is one surface that remains your strongest strategic defense: your mobile app. I’m looking forward to Moloco’s Beth Berger taking the stage at AppsFlyer MAMA San Francisco tomorrow. She’ll be diving into insights from our recent AI Disruption Index research with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to explain why your app is the ultimate "owned" surface for building durable customer trust and loyalty. If you’re in San Francisco, this is the session to catch if you want to move beyond renting transactions and start truly owning the customer journey. #AppsFlyer #MAMA #AppGrowth

Agents don’t just make research software faster. They make the capacity to run it elastic. Brands can now internalize more of the work that used to require agency bandwidth. Software suppliers should lean into brand-direct. Agencies must move from process execution to expertise, orchestration, and expandable judgment. The sorting has started. https://lnkd.in/ehD9QZPi
