Portfolios: allow disabling counting Dividends within realized gains
Context: portfolio management, user has set up their holdings in a portfolio. Portfolio is analysing historical transactions under provided holdings, including dividends paid (if any). Those dividends are counted as part of Realized Gains for that portfolio.
Problem statement: in case if those dividends we re-invested e.g. into the same symbol, there's a 'double counting' happening - i.e. position body got increased (as a result of an additional transaction) as well as realized gains still counts that dividends. This creates a confusion and, actually, produced an incorrect performance results of a portfolio.
Suggestion: allow a user to simply turn off/on the contribution of Dividends into Realized Gains (e.g. on the level of Portfolio settings). In my case, I will keep it "off", thus allowing me to exclude reinvested dividends from the gains of my portfolios for the sake of more correct performance results.
Happy to discuss in case of any additional context is required.
