1. Fix dark mode bug

   In Dark mode on the Yahoo Mail Android app, the sidebar/folders menu (Inbox, Sent, Spam, Trash, etc.) appears as a solid white background with white or invisible text, making it completely unreadable.
   This happens specifically on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (and other Samsung devices).
   Light mode works normally.
   I have already tried:
   Updating the app
   Clearing cache and data
   Force stop
   Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
   The issue started recently after switching between light and dark mode, and it did not happen before.
   Please fix the dark theme styling for the folders/sidebar menu.

   Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

   I would like to share some feedback regarding a recent change to the search interface in the Yahoo Mail Android app.

   As you would be able to see in a screenshot, an unnecessarily large amount of screen space is now occupied by interface elements and empty space, particularly around the "Add keyword" section on the right.

   As a result, the actual email search results are pushed all the way to the bottom of the screen, leaving room to display barely one email at a time.

   This makes searching and browsing emails unnecessarily frustrating and inefficient.

   My suggestion: Make the search controls more compact, eliminate the excessive empty space, and allow the email results to occupy most of the available screen.

   I also have a second piece of feedback regarding the product feedback form itself.

   Unfortunately, the form does not appear to offer an option to attach screenshots. I would gladly have included one, as it would have made the problem immediately clear.

   By not allowing screenshots, the feedback process becomes unnecessarily complicated for both users and your own product team. Users have to spend more time explaining visual issues in words, while your team has to spend more time interpreting descriptions that could have been understood at a glance.

   My second suggestion: Allow users to attach screenshots when submitting product feedback. This small improvement would make the process easier, faster, and more effective for everyone.

   Both issues seem relatively straightforward to address and could significantly improve the overall user experience.

14. Bug report - Android mobile web app

    I have multiple email accounts linked to my Yahoo email account. One of those linked accounts is another Yahoo email account, which isn't displayed anymore. It does show when using desktop mode or when using a Windows computer, but not on my mobile web app. When trying to add that missing account using the settings option on the mobile web app, I cannot because Yahoo isn't listed as an email provider, only Gmail, AOL and some others. However, Yahoo is listed as a provider on desktop mode. Adding it in desktop mode doesn't help, it's still not shown on the mobile web app. Tried using different browsers, including Chrome and Brave, as well as clearing the cache.

15. This new version of Yahoo mail is horrible.

    Oh my dear guys, this new Yahoo mail app is ridiculous. Primarily the search. If you had a keystring of words you could search before and an email with those strings would appear, now all I get is any email that has at least just one of those words. Effectively making you sort through hundreds if not thousands of emails to find the one email you knew you use a certain phrase, especially if it was a long time ago. So not happy. So many other apps let you filter from sender, not just seeing a whole list of senders. There really should be filters in a search, it's just basic common sense. If this doesn't get fixed I guarantee you people will migrate.

    Dear Yahoo Support Team,

    I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding the current user experience of the Yahoo Mail app on Android.

    My email address, djordjevicMilos@yahoo.com, itself makes it clear that I have been using Yahoo Mail services for a very long time. As a long-standing Yahoo Mail user, I am therefore particularly disappointed by the current state of the Android application.

    I use Yahoo Mail (v. 26.361/1980803) on a Samsung Galaxy A56, and the current version of the app has become extremely frustrating and unreliable in everyday use. The problems are not limited to a single feature or isolated malfunction, they affect the basic navigation and handling of the inbox.

    Among the issues I am experiencing are:
    - inconsistent or problematic rendering and loading of inbox content;
    - unreliable refreshing and displaying of newly received emails;
    - poor and sometimes confusing behavior when returning after opening and reading an email;
    - difficulties returning smoothly to the main inbox view;
    unreliable swipe-left actions for deleting emails;
    unreliable swipe-right actions for marking emails as unread;
    inconsistent responses to basic navigation gestures and actions throughout the inbox;
    a general feeling that the interface does not reliably reflect the user's actions or the current state of the inbox.

    These are fundamental functions of an email application. When basic actions such as opening an email, returning to the inbox, refreshing messages, deleting a message, or marking it as unread do not work smoothly and predictably, the entire purpose of the application is undermined.

    I have used Yahoo Mail for a very long time, and I find the current state of the Android application particularly disappointing. The problem is not simply that the interface could be more convenient, the current implementation actively makes routine email management slower, more difficult and unnecessarily frustrating.

    I strongly urge Yahoo to review the current Android release from the perspective of actual everyday user experience, with particular attention to navigation, gesture responsiveness, inbox refreshing, state synchronization, and transitions between the inbox and individual messages.

    Please treat this as a request for an actual product-quality improvement, rather than simply a request for troubleshooting on a single device. The issues described above concern the overall usability of the current Yahoo Mail Android experience.

    Yahoo is a major email service, and users should not have to struggle with basic inbox operations.

    I would appreciate it if this feedback could be forwarded to the relevant Yahoo Mail product and engineering team and considered for a future update.
