   I've been a Yahoo Mail user for nearly 20 years, and I'm extremely disappointed with the new version. One of the reasons I stayed with Yahoo for so long was because it had its own unique interface. The new design feels like a copy of Gmail, and it has lost the simplicity and layout that made Yahoo Mail easy to use.

   I would like the option to use the previous Basic Mail or the classic interface. Not every long-time customer wants the redesigned experience, and it would be appreciated if Yahoo allowed users to choose the version that works best for them.

   I've remained a loyal customer for many years, and this change has made using my email much less enjoyable. I hope you'll consider bringing back the previous Basic Mail experience or providing an option to switch back.

   The proposed "New Home Page" is a definite BAD idea. The current Windows version provides a compact and user content selected format in 3 or 4 columns with convenient links to articles, The new format requires excessive scrolling to find links of interest.

3. Your programming team needs to bring back "View" and "Preview Panes" for Yahoo Mail.

   he new updated Yahoo mail is missing significant items. I have multiple accounts that are on the left side of my Yahoo mail browser window for each email account. They are no longer there and now I have to log out to log into each email account. The prior account had each account listed on the left side.

   Also, there is no "VIEW" to see attachments like photos and documents. You must return to this. It is what separates you from the "mear mortal" email programs.

   Last, there is no way to see the preview panel, whether to the right or below the email subject line. How is a person going to quickly preview messages, to keep or delete. A single line that you have to click to see the entire message is cumbersome.

   Please go online to see the feedback about Yahoo's new email and you will see the displeasure of your changes. It's as if you went back in time(like the 1990s) by disabling the useful features. Please take the time to research this. Your base code is already there. I have been a shareholder and customer of Yahoo since 1994. I am not a newby.     Around Friday (5/22/2026) evening, I have noticed that I was suddenly unable to properly authenticate to the Yahoo Fantasy Sports API, which I have used for several months with no issues.

    Issues I have seen:
    Unable to access my apps page: https://developer.yahoo.com/apps/
    I see the error message: `An internal error occurred (eid 7280011)."
    Unable to access the create apps page: https://developer.yahoo.com/apps/create/
    I see the error message: "upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection termination"
    Unable to authenticate with Oauth, with no changes to my apps (since I am unable to access them)
    Attempting to authenticate delivers me to the link: https://login.yahoo.com/oauth2/authorize?src=oauth&done=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com
    Which displays "Not Found" on the page
    I just wanted to provide notification for these issues and hopefully they can help with the quick resolution.

14. Allow multiple addresses to be associate with a filter.

    I came from comcast.net where I could add multiple email addresses to a rule to be able to sort mail. Yahoo needs this capability. Trying to find common "words" among these does not work. I get hundreds of email a day and I need to filter these into different folders. This should not be a hard fix. I design computer apps for a living.

16. get rid of right hand column. annoying as all ****

    get rid of the distracting and annoying column to the right of email. It does nothing to enhance yahoo mail. seems every time yahoo makes "improvements" to yahoo mail, they muck it up and make it worse., sorry but your designers made a very complicated distracting confusing busy annoying 'new yahoo mail'. hate it.

17. Delete the right side column c

    The new Yahoo Mail sucks! It’s busy, confusing, puts in extra steps and it’s a very unattractive page to look at. The right hand column is a big nuisance and there should be a way to delete it, not only close it each time you open the mail. )honestly, you guys have a good product and manage to muck it up and make it worse every time you redesign. Never seen any like it.

    I hate Yahoo! Read all my other feedback to you for the reasons. You have been the most unhelpful, unlike the very first, and the first person who helped me yesterday. He only helped a little by restoring only one draft.
