Whether you're preparing for your Journeyman exam or sharpening your on-the-job skills, this class is designed to help you confidently navigate the National Electrical Code (NEC). Learn how to effectively find, interpret, and apply code requirements using the NEC book.

Code Update - Electrical

Keep your electrical journeyman or contractor license current with this state-approved, in-person Electrical Code Update course. Led by an experienced instructor, this class meets Oklahoma’s continuing education requirements, providing the 6 hours of mandatory training needed each code cycle for license renewal.

DIY Home Repair Electrical

In this hands-on Basic Electrical class, you'll learn how to safely replace light fixtures, switches, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues—without the risk of a shocking experience. You will learn light fixture replacement, switch repairs, electrical troubleshooting, tool know-how!
DIY Home Repair Series Painting
Ready to transform your home with a fresh coat of paint but unsure where to start? Our Painting Basics class is designed for you! This hands-on workshop will guide you through every step of the painting process, from preparing your space to selecting the right paint and tools, and finally, cleaning up and storing your supplies like a pro. You will learn job preparation, selecting the right paint, tools of the trade, painting techniques, clean up storage.
Electrical Trades - Evening
This 500-hour evening electrician training course is designed for working adults looking to gain hands-on experience while balancing their current job and responsibilities. Taught by a licensed electrical contractor.
Grounding And Bonding: NEC Principles And Applications

This 6-hour continuing education course provides electricians with an in-depth review of grounding and bonding principles as outlined in the National Electrical Code (NEC). Key topics include the purpose and function of grounding, methods of bonding to ensure electrical continuity, overcurrent protection, and safety practices that reduce the risk of shock and fire hazards.

HVAC/R I Electrical Heat & Flow

HVAC/R I introduces students to foundational electrical and heating principles used in the HVAC/R industry. Instruction includes electrical safety, basic circuitry, transformers, motors, controls, and gas and electric heating systems.

HVAC/R II

HVAC/R II builds upon the foundational skills developed in HVAC/R I and focuses on refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Topics include refrigeration cycles, system components, refrigerant handling, system performance analysis, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

 

Introduction to Sheet Metal Fabrication
This course provides HVAC technicians with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in sheet metal fabrication, a crucial aspect of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Participants will learn the principles of working with sheet metal, including cutting, bending, shaping, and joining techniques.
Intro To Welding
This course covers basic welding skills and provides a foundation for further training toward industrial welding skills. Safe use of equipment is emphasized. Students will receive basic instruction and participate in hands-on expereinces using oxyfuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding.
Machining: Manual Mills And Lathes

Embark on a journey through the fundamentals of machining in our intensive 48-hour course. Delve into the origins of everyday products as you gain hands-on experience with essential tools, including the lathe, milling machine, drill press, power saw, and bench grinder.

Machining: Manual Mills And Lathes

Learn advanced machine setups including threading, boring, and tapering on the engine lathe, as well as cutting angles, milling slots, and forming hex shapes on the Bridgeport mill. Students will be challenged to complete projects to print specifications and meet deadlines, preparing them for real shop conditions and earning an additional certificate upon successful completion.

TIG Welding
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding procedures and techniques. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Intro to Welding.
 
Welding 1 Blended

This evening welding course is designed to introduce students to basic welding skills and provides a foundation for further training toward industrial welding skills. Safe use of equipment is emphasized. Students will receive basic instruction and participate in hands-on experiences using oxyfuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding (MIG), Fluxed core arc welding (FCAW), and Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).

Welding II - Blended

Once students successfully complete the first semester of the evening welding program, a process specific pathway will be chosen from one of the following advanced code specific options: • SMAW (AWS D1.1, API 1104, ASME Section IX) • FCAW (AWS D1.1 & ASME Section IX)
