This year alone, we’ve already funded more than $1 billion. Each of those homeowners came to us for a reason: to pay down debt, renovate their home, start a new business, or put their equity to work without taking on another monthly payment. High mortgage rates and strict lending standards have made it harder for many to tap equity in other ways, and that's driving demand for an alternative option. We're also expanding to reach more households across the United States. Point is now available in Kentucky, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Mississippi, which brings us to 31 states plus Washington, D.C. Two things helped make this possible. We closed a $508.6M oversubscribed securitization, the largest in the HEI space, and we launched a wholesale channel that lets mortgage brokers offer Point to their clients. Thank you to every homeowner who has trusted us, to our capital partners, and to the team at Point. Link to the announcement in the comments.

When I joined AZ nearly 2 years ago, this was still a dream. Now we are here, and I am very grateful for the privilege to build on experiences from the Harvard, MIT, Broad Institute and Mass General Brigham ecosystems to grow new talent, test innovative ideas, and form new partnerships pushing the boundaries for patients with Cardiovascular Renal Metabolism R&D. The view is inspiring from here.

Fine for covering our Series A, led by Unilever Ventures with continued support from Greycroft and Female Founders Fund. When Jay Small and I started Arey in 2021, we set out to challenge the idea that greying hair is simply inevitable. We believed there was an opportunity to build a more proactive, science-led approach to hair longevity. With this partnership we are focused on putting the capital to work where it can have the greatest impact: advancing R&D, investing in more clinical research, expanding our team, and thoughtfully developing the right retail partnerships. I’m particularly proud that this news comes as we prepare to publish our first randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD). The study is a critical step in substantiating the promise behind what we are building, and in moving the conversation around hair aging from resignation to possibility. We’re grateful to Isabelle Hemington and the Unilever Ventures team for believing in the science, the category, and our long-term vision. Thank you as well to Brian B. Nicholson and Anu Duggal for your continued support. To our investors, team, advisors, partners, and especially our community: thank you for believing that aging hair deserves more attention, more innovation, and more possibility. https://lnkd.in/gWgR_GJ3Arey Secures Series A Funding Led by Unilever VenturesArey Secures Series A Funding Led by Unilever Ventures

From the second he took over Consumer Products till he left the building as CEO it was an absolute reign of terror. He shived Andy Mooney, then Tom Staggs, conspiring the whole time with Ike, and driving out a whole generation of great people in the process. He gutted Imagineering, and tried to move half the company to Florida in the middle of the pandemic telling people “move or else”, then got into a fight with the governor that he lost. He put Kareem Daniel who had never run a business over and had no creative background over all greenlight decisions in the company, and alienated much of Hollywood in the process. And he oversaw the most disastrous creative rut in Disney history. This kind of recognition reflects the work of a much bigger group of folks than any list can capture — I'm proud and lucky to work alongside an incredibly talented legal team every day. It's a genuinely exciting time to be in music. The pace of innovation and cutting-edge legal issues across the industry is something I don't take for granted — and I'm proud that Spotify is at the center of so much of it. The work happening here benefits creators, fans, and the broader industry, and it's a privilege to play a part in that.

I’ve been reflecting on what an incredibly rewarding journey it has been to lead this APAC team. I am immensely proud of the foundation we’ve built across the region. From scaling our footprint to partnering with incredible enterprise businesses, it has been a privilege to watch this team and region thrive. Stepping away is a whole lot easier when you know you're leaving the team in phenomenal hands. I am incredibly excited that Gary Yang will be stepping up as our next Asia-Pacific President starting August 1. I will continue to be hands-on in the business until the end of 2026, helping Adyen’s global growth. Having worked closely with Gary, I know his deep understanding of our global business makes him the perfect person to drive Adyen Asia-Pacific’s next phase of growth. Over the next few months, he and I will be working closely together to make sure the transition is completely seamless for our team, merchants, and partners. Jason LeeKeenan liked thisJason LeeKeenan liked thisTen years ago, we started Amperity to unleash the creativity and passion of people who work in the world's most loved consumer brands. We were excited to see what these businesses could achieve when their customer data was finally unified and trusted -- and hundreds of deployments later the results continue to amaze me every day. Today I'm pleased to be stepping in as co-CEO, alongside Derek Slager — my friend of 20+ years. We've asked our longtime partner Amy Kelleran Pelly to expand her scope and become the company's President. This is all deeply meaningful and exciting for me. The AI era runs on exactly the foundation our team has spent a decade building for Virgin Atlantic, Brooks Running, DICK's Sporting Goods, and hundreds of the world's most iconic brands. We're carrying the soul of Amperity forward and aiming it at our biggest opportunity yet. A special thanks to Amperity's management team, board of directors, my partners at Amp it Up Ventures and the exceptional leaders we work with for being so thoughtful and helpful in making this decision. Cleats on. LFG.

Jason LeeKeenan liked thisJason LeeKeenan liked thisOne of the things I respect most about Blackstone President Jon Gray is his optimism. During our fireside chat at our Goldman Sachs Capital Markets Conference, Jon noted that in almost every year since 2020, the market has experienced an initial shock—the pandemic, the Ukraine war, Liberation Day—before rebounding in the latter half of the year. He believes, if the conflict with Iran ends soon, 2026 will see a similar dynamic. Over the longer run, he believes AI is going to change the world and that the investment opportunities across the value chain are significant. On the private equity side, Blackstone is investing in companies at all stages of the value chain, and on the private credit side, it is financing a wide range of activities. Jon’s enthusiasm for the future is infectious, and I appreciate his sharing these perspectives with our clients.

In a recent conversation on Rho’s podcast, Venture Grounds, GV Partner KJ Sidberry joined host Jason Grohowski for a wide-ranging conversation about consumer AI, founder intuition, and what actually creates durable companies in rapidly shifting markets. KJ shared why he believes this moment feels fundamentally different from previous platform shifts. As AI lowers the barriers to building and makes execution more accessible, founders increasingly need stronger points of view about where markets are heading and what consumers will truly value over time. The conversation also explored why “niche” markets are often underestimated, how constraints can produce stronger companies, and why there is still a meaningful gap between AI capability and real-world adoption. It’s a thoughtful discussion on consumer behavior, company-building, and how AI is reshaping what it takes to build enduring products. Watch the full conversation at the link below.

The conditions for a new wave of consumer companies haven't looked this good in over a decade. Bessemer Partner Jeremy Levine joined Eric Newcomer on the Newcomer podcast to explain why, and it comes down to two converging forces. 1/ A new front door to the internet. Google and Meta owned how people started their online journey for years. Now it's Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini. And unlike Google, where consumer companies like Booking.com spent billions engineering their way to the top of search results, nobody owns these chatbot surfaces yet. It's open season. 2/ New product capabilities that change what's possible for consumers. AI isn't just a new distribution channel. It lets you build things that simply weren't buildable before. Just like Yelp figured out SEO early and rode it to scale, the companies that crack AI platform distribution first will have a real edge. An entirely new discipline is emerging and the race is on. Great write-up from Net Influencer today on something we think about a lot at Trolley: payouts aren’t just back-office infrastructure — they’re part of the creator experience. As platforms compete for the best creators, getting people paid reliably, quickly, and in the way they want is increasingly becoming a talent retention issue. https://lnkd.in/guYtrewc

We are excited to announce Radical’s lead investment in Outset’s Series B. It’s a milestone that reflects both the speed of Outset’s progress and the scale of the transformation underway in customer understanding. Outset is redefining how companies close the gap between what customers say, what they need, and how teams respond. By merging data gathered by humans and AI agents, they’re creating a more complete, actionable view of the customer experience for teams like Microsoft, Away, Hubspot, Uber and more. Outset is well on their way to building an AI-powered insights platform that finally connects the full customer experience. Congratulations to Aaron Cannon, Michael Hess, and the entire Outset team!

The world is obsessed right now with what AI can automate, optimize, and predict — and rightly so, given how much is changing. But in all that focus on artificial intelligence, it's easy to lose sight of something simpler: real joy, in real life, for real people. Not every great business is trying to replace a human task. Some of the best ones are just trying to make an ordinary day a little more fun. That’s where Buywander comes in. Buywander is an auction-based marketplace connecting value-seeking buyers with returned and overstocked goods from vetted retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Home Depot - and the best part is that every auction starts at $1. We're thrilled to announce that Inspired and Madrona Ventures co-led Buywander's $21M Series A. We've been impressed by Jordan and Brock's leadership since we first started talking with them over a year ago, and it shows in how far they've taken this. Buywander started as one warehouse in Spokane and has now grown to eight cities nationwide, with recent launches in Denver and Chicago and an upcoming opening in Minneapolis. Excited to welcome Jordan Allen, Brock Kowalchuk, and the Buywander team to the portfolio! Read why we invested here: ordnl.link/waTg2MW Read more in Axios here: ordnl.link/JztOEnR

My dad was the first operating partner at Blackstone, in the late nineties, working for Stephen A. Schwarzman and Pete Peterson. He always said it was the most fun he ever had in his career. I didn't build Vokal to end up in his industry. For a decade, we built apps and digital platforms for brands, mostly start ups. nothing close to private equity. Then, right as I was losing him four years ago, we found it. A white space in the industry, digital value creation built specifically for mid- and lower-middle-market PE funds and their portfolio companies. It didn't feel like a pivot. It felt like a calling, the one part of running this business I never got to talk to him about, and somehow walked into anyway. I know exactly what he'd say if he saw where we are now. He always believed we would. If you've ever ended up somewhere you didn't plan for, but that somehow makes perfect sense? what got you there? #Founders #PrivateEquity #Vokal
