Jim McPartlin shared thisGary Hawkins and Ben Teresi define what forward-thinking leadership looks like. Having known Gary for over 20 years, and having had the privilege of working with their team on self-awareness and personal growth, I’ve seen firsthand their commitment to investing in people. They understand that great organizations are built by leaders who are willing to look inward, challenge themselves, and help others grow. An exciting opportunity to be part of something special! #hawkinshospitality #leadership #feelvaluedJim McPartlin shared thisHawkins Hospitality Class of '26 just opened for late-season enrollment. Jim McPartlin shared thisWhat a terrific day with the BetMGM team in Jersey City last week! Over the past year, I've had the pleasure of working with BetMGM on multiple occasions, and this latest session brought together more than 90 participants for a deep dive into self-awareness, communication, and leadership through the Enneagram and Integrative Enneagram Solutions. A highlight was our panel discussion, where colleagues openly shared their insights and discoveries. Enlightening, thoughtful, and a wonderful reminder of why I love this work. After 30+ years with the Enneagram, I remain convinced that self-awareness is only as valuable as what we do with it. My thanks to Kristy Lalley and the team for another memorable experience! #BetMGM #Enneagram #iEQ9 #LeadershipDevelopment

Jim McPartlin shared thisExceptional time with the Marriott Data Science Team last week in Detroit. Marriott International I hadn’t been back since I worked there in the late ’80s, and all I can say is—wow, downtown has changed! This was truly a great group to work with. Lots of laughter, lots of learning, and a real willingness to lean into the Enneagram (Integrative Enneagram Solutions), self-awareness, and the sometimes messy business of how we communicate with one another. One of the things I continue to appreciate about Marriott is its investment in people—not simply in what they do, but in how they lead, communicate, collaborate, and show up for one another. This team brought their A-game: curious, engaged, candid, and very funny. A special shout-out to Jay Odum for bringing me in and for creating the kind of environment where people can learn, challenge themselves, and still have a really good time doing it. Great day. Great people. And Detroit—it was very good to see you again. #Marriott #Enneagram #LeadershipDevelopment #SelfAwareness #TeamDevelopment #Communication #iEQ9

Jim McPartlin shared thisOne of the great joys of my work is watching self-awareness turn into real connection. I recently had the privilege of leading another Enneagram team training at the beautiful Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. Colm O'Callaghan is a true thought leader, and it is always a pleasure to partner with him. The Enneagram (Integrative Enneagram SolutionsIntegrative Enneagram Solutions) gives us a powerful language for understanding ourselves—our motivations, strengths, blind spots, and the impact we have on others. But self-awareness is only valuable if we do something with it. Listen with greater curiosity. Communicate more honestly. Understand different perspectives. Have the conversations we sometimes avoid. To me, that’s leadership: knowing yourself, truly seeing others, and having the courage to engage in the honest conversations that move people forward. After all these years, that’s still the work I love

Jim McPartlin shared thisFor my LA crew - check this out: Proud to support my friends Brian Hamilton and Gabriela Safa as they create a little space to slow down, quiet the noise, and reconnect. In a world that rarely stops asking for our attention, 75 minutes to breathe, reflect, and simply be present sounds like time very well spent.

Jim McPartlin reacted on thisJim McPartlin reacted on thisWhen we help people see what they’re capable of, we expand what’s possible for the entire organization. John Fair and I recently joined our training and development team at Rocket to talk about leadership, an AI mindset and their role in shaping our future. These teams help people build new skills, question familiar ways of working and gain the confidence to try something different. As AI changes how we work, that role becomes even more meaningful. Realizing that potential takes leadership, too. We have to make room for curiosity and experimentation, and be willing to learn alongside our teams. “AI Starts with Us” was the session’s theme. Bringing it to life means helping people see themselves as capable of shaping what comes next, and giving them the support, space and trust to do it.✊🏾

Jim McPartlin reacted on thisJim McPartlin reacted on thisIt’s been an incredible honor to work alongside the team at Apes Hill Golf Resort & Community over the past year. Last week marked the culmination of nearly 12 months of collaboration, as my team and I journeyed to Barbados for a full week of hands-on training and development ahead of the Resort’s busy season. Working alongside the property’s leaders and associates, our team at Stone Street Collective facilitated brand immersions, leadership workshops, elevated service training, and practical coaching across the resort’s golf, food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest experience operations. Truly, the most rewarding part of the week was seeing so much of our work come to life. We watched teams embrace new ideas, challenge themselves to think differently about the guest experience, and find new ways to recognize and celebrate one another. There were some genuinely wonderful moments throughout the week that reminded me why we love doing this work. I’m incredibly proud of what Daniel Macias and the rest of our team accomplished, but even more excited to see what the Apes Hill team will continue to achieve in the months ahead. A sincere thank you to the leadership at Apes Hill Barbados for your continued trust and partnership, and to the many associates who welcomed us so warmly and brought such enthusiasm to every session. We’re looking forward to seeing you have an exceptional season! #LuxuryHospitality #HospitalityLeadership #ServiceExcellence #HospitalityTraining #StoneStreetCollective

Jim McPartlin reacted on thisIm incredibly proud to have served as the lead person in Property Management for 148 Lafayette Street—the first building I managed in that capacity—and to have seen this investment through its full lifecycle, from acquisition and operations to the successful sale. This achievement reflects the tremendous effort, collaboration, and commitment of the entire Tishman Speyer team. I’m grateful to have worked alongside so many talented colleagues and proud of the professionalism, dedication, and teamwork that helped deliver an exceptional outcome for our investors.Jim McPartlin reacted on thisTishman Speyer has completed the $132.5 million sale of 148 Lafayette Street, a fully leased, 12-story boutique office building in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, to Shorenstein Properties. We acquired the property for $105.5 million in June 2025 and executed our business plan ahead of schedule in approximately 17 months. After accounting for contractual credits at acquisition and sale, the adjusted sale price was 41% higher than the adjusted acquisition price. During our ownership, we maintained full occupancy by leasing approximately 25,000 square feet across two floors that had been scheduled to become vacant in 2026. The sale reaffirms our conviction in continued demand for premier office assets in prime Manhattan neighborhoods. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gZNbJFDv

Jim McPartlin reacted on thisJim McPartlin reacted on thisThese young women are so open, interested, and ready! Last month, I had the privilege of partnering with the The Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership at Northeastern University Leadership to kick off the opening event for Year 2 of the Women Who Empower leadership program at Northeastern University. Our focus was to introduce Gordon’s spider chart -- 14 leadership capabilities for engineering leaders. For those unfamiliar, Gordon's spider chart strips away corporate platitudes. It maps capability across measurable, competing operational demands—systems thinking, strategic vision, initiative, and influence to name a few. It reveals where an individual's technical competence either translates into organizational leadership or hits a developmental ceiling. Facilitating high-potential rooms through frameworks is always satisfying, but this cohort brought an unusual level of energy and purpose. And something happened that caught me off guard after speaking at the front of the room for two decades! On the "courage" capability, I had chosen a story about my mom, who, for all intents and purposes, is not what you'd think of as a "leader." However, there was a moment of hardship in our past where she acted with the courage and compassion of the most astute leader I've ever met. To my surprise, from the front of the room, I started to feel heat rise up and a lump in my throat. It occurred to me in that moment that I, too, was modeling courage for these students. I hope I showed them that vulnerability and courage are not, in fact, opposites, but must be developed together on our leadership journeys. My message to all early career women out there: through my story you can see that no matter where we are in our career, we're always capable of more leadership depth. Thank you Amy Manley for inviting me to contribute.

As many of you know, this is my first time working in house on a people and culture team, so I don't have a comparison - but it's hard to imagine a more capable team and simply a great group of people.Jim McPartlin reacted on thisToday was the Best Day! I’m so proud of our People & Culture team for being recognized as a Top 50 team in the Human Resources category of the 2026 OnCon Icon Team Awards. The awards are based on peer and community voting, which makes this recognition especially meaningful. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated and supported our team. We came to Kardigan because we believe in its mission: bringing people with cardiovascular diseases closer to the cures they deserve. Over the past three years, we’ve grown from 0 to more than 250+ employees. Along the way, we’ve invested in our leaders, culture, change, and values and built a “we’ve got this” mindset that helps us keep moving forward together. Across three locations, our team shows up every day for our employees and patients. We’re committed to #BeingAuthentic, #WinningAsATeam, and #EagerToLearn as we work to #EnableTheImpossible #DrivenByPatientsAndTheirFamilies. This team inspires me every day.
