Phillip Wright reposted thisPhillip Wright reposted thisOur CEO, Tassos Gianakakos, sat down with Ron Leuty from the San Francisco Business Times to talk about our recent strategic business combination with Prolaio. “We started thinking about the cardiovascular company of the future, where we could improve access, lower costs and bend the productivity curve for developing new medicines that are getting closer to cures,” Tassos told Ron about the origins of Kardigan and Prolaio. Now, with Prolaio’s curated #CV clinical data sets and world-leading analytics, we’re one step closer to bringing these therapies and technologies to those who need them most. I’m so proud of our People & Culture team for being recognized as a Top 50 team in the Human Resources category of the 2026 OnCon Icon Team Awards. The awards are based on peer and community voting, which makes this recognition especially meaningful. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated and supported our team. We came to Kardigan because we believe in its mission: bringing people with cardiovascular diseases closer to the cures they deserve. Over the past three years, we’ve grown from 0 to more than 250+ employees. Along the way, we’ve invested in our leaders, culture, change, and values and built a “we’ve got this” mindset that helps us keep moving forward together. Phillip Wright reacted on thisPhillip Wright reacted on thisApproximately 1 million people in the U.S. are living with moderate calcific aortic valve stenosis (CAVS). Today, none of these patients have an approved therapy that treats the underlying disease. At Kardigan, we're working to change that by developing an investigational precision medicine designed to treat CAVS at its source. Phillip Wright reacted on thisPhillip Wright reacted on thisOn Friday, I wrapped up my summer internship on Kardigan’s corporate strategy team in the Evanston, IL office. I’m feeling especially grateful for twelve weeks spent at such a mission-driven organization, surrounded by an all-star team. The summer was full of immense learnings about corporate strategy as a function, cardiovascular as a therapeutic area, and the constant excitement of operating as a clinical-stage biotech. I’m immensely grateful to Dasom (Christine) Yoo, Ph.D., Brett Koch and the entire strategy team for providing such an impactful experience. Next up, returning to Harvard Business School and Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences for the final year of my MS/MBA: Biotechnology program!

Phillip Wright reacted on thisPhillip Wright reacted on thisThis week, we're celebrating the people who started it all at Kardigan. It’s our annual Founders celebration. Kardigan was founded on one important conviction: to make cardiovascular disease preventable, curable, and no longer the world's leading cause of death. From day one, that belief has shaped everything, from the science we pursue to the team we've built. To everyone who's been part of this journey: the best is still ahead. 🫀 #Kardigan #FoundersWeek #TeamKardigan #KardiganCulture #HeartHealthReimagined
