Programs

Clear Path for Veterans partners with counties across New York State to deliver meaningful, effective Dwyer Peer Support programs. Through established infrastructure and a deeply personalized approach, we help communities maximize their Dwyer funding while ensuring veterans receive consistent, trusted, and impactful support.

Our goal is simple: help counties care for their veterans in ways that are practical, sustainable, and genuinely life-changing.

a Comprehensive, Compassionate approach

Effective peer support doesn’t happen through one-time events or surface-level engagement. It requires consistency, trust, and people who understand the veteran experience firsthand.

Clear Path’s approach to Dwyer Peer Support is ongoing, relationship-driven, and rooted in proven best practices — creating meaningful, lasting impact for veterans and their families.

  • Connect

After leaving military service, many veterans lose the close-knit structure and camaraderie they once relied on. Through peer support, veterans reconnect with others who understand their experiences — restoring a sense of belonging, trust, and shared purpose.

  • Restore

The challenges veterans face affect entire families and support systems. Peer support creates space for veterans, caregivers, and loved ones to heal together — helping them reset, rebuild stability, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

  • Grow

Transitioning from service often brings uncertainty about what comes next. Peer support helps veterans identify new goals, adapt their strengths to civilian life, and rediscover a sense of purpose — at their own pace, with support alongside them.
