The game shows the three tree names but never says which name belongs to which tree. Each tree is matched to its name by its talents.

Legacy: what we know

5 of 6 answered

  1. How many Legacy Points can one character spend?

    Answered 16.

The account earns up to 81, and every character picks its own 16 from them, so a second character starts with the whole pool open.

    From the beta build

  2. How do I earn Legacy Points?

Answered From Legacy challenges: 66 of them in build 1.60.1.70532, one point each, earned once per account.

From the beta build All 66 challenges

  3. When does the Legacy System unlock?

Answered The game says it opens when your first character reaches level 25.

    From the beta build

  4. Are Legacy Points the same as talent points?

    Answered No.

They are two currencies: 16 Legacy Points per character for the three Legacy trees, and 51 class talent points. One Adventure talent, Talented, brings the first talent point forward from level 10 to as early as level 5, and the total still stops at 51.

From the beta build Talent calculator

  5. Can I share a Legacy build?

    Answered Yes.

The build is written into the page link as you spend points, and the links between the tree pages carry it along, so one link holds all three trees.

  6. What does the Legacy rewards track give?

    Not known yet

The game has a Legacy Rewards tab, and we have not found what it awards in build 1.60.1.70532. Last looked 22 October 2026.

Blizzard has not said, and we have not seen it in game yet.
