How do I get into the WoW Forever beta?
The beta runs from 17 September to 21 October 2026. Opt in on the WoW Forever site for a chance at an invitation, which is not guaranteed, or buy the Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) or the Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99), which include beta access. The $29.99 Skyborne Heroic Pack does not. The beta level cap is 30.

Do I need to buy WoW Forever?
No. WoW Forever is included with an existing World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, with no separate box price. The paid packs are optional upgrades with cosmetics, and two of them add beta access.

What classes and races are in WoW Forever?
The nine classes of Classic and its eight races, plus the Skyborne, a new neutral race either faction can choose. Six new race and class combinations join them: Gnome Priest, Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Orc Mage, Troll Warlock and Undead Paladin.

What is the level cap in WoW Forever?
Level 60 at launch, on the original continents. The beta cap is level 30 today.

How do talents and the Legacy System work?
Class talent trees keep Classic's seven-row layout, with milestone talents at 11, 21 and 31 points and a new one at 16. The Legacy System is separate from class talents: an account-wide progression earned through achievement-like challenges, in three trees.

Do WoW Classic addons work in WoW Forever?
Not automatically. WoW Forever is its own game version (1.60.1 in the beta), so check each add-on on its author's page. Add-ons go in the game's Interface\AddOns folder. The beta also has native gamepad support, Edit Mode and a Cooldown Manager of its own.

How do I play WoW Forever at launch?
With an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, from 4 November 2026. Name reservation runs from 27 October to 3 November 2026, with early reservation for pre-purchasers of the paid packs. There are no named realms: you pick a ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying or Hardcore) when you create a character.
