Nick Taylor shared thisToday marks 30 years at Accenture. Why has this company kept me engaged and contributing for so long? In my time here I have had the opportunity to learn and grow every day… >80 clients across all industries, >£5B of benefits delivered, >30 countries and cultures explored, >20 roles running different parts of the company, >6 practices built and >10k new people employed in these businesses, >3 acquisitions that I have personally onboarded and working with >thousands of the smartest people that have made me lift my game every day for the last three decades. Thank you to all the people, both inside and outside of Accenture, that have helped shape the person and leader I am today. Found the pass with my photo from first day at work. What I would give for that head of hair again, as today am much more follicly challenged!!

Nick Taylor shared thisAI agents are no longer theoretical. They’re operational. Accenture’s AI Refinery™, built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise and now live in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, brings 18 agentic solutions into the hands of businesses ready to move past experimentation. These aren’t generic tools. From the Agentic AI Ordering Agent (co-developed with Amazon Business and AWS) to Agent Builder and Trusted Agent Huddle, they’re purpose-built for real business environments—designed to orchestrate intelligent agents at scale, with industry context baked in. In this short conversation, Chris Wegmann of Accenture and Brian Bohan of AWS unpack what’s new—and why this shift matters for leaders building AI into the fabric of their operations.

Nick Taylor reacted on thisNick Taylor reacted on thisThere's something I have been sitting with this morning. We mark this day every year with statistics, declarations, and stories of barriers broken. And yes all of that still matters. But I keep returning to a quieter question, one about where stories begin, and what it takes to believe you're allowed to have one at all. I grew up working class. No one in my family had been to university. Not because the capacity wasn't there but more because the world hadn't yet made space for that possibility to feel real. A senior career in the corporate world wasn't something I was told to reach for. It existed somewhere beyond the edges of what seemed meant for people like us. I found my way here without a degree, without an inherited network from a Russell Group common room and without the unspoken ease of someone who always knew the room would receive them. I've thought a great deal about what that journey has taught me, not just about resilience, but about how much we ask of people before we've addressed the conditions they're navigating. Women don't arrive at the starting line equally. Class, race, geography, educational background, neurodiversity, caring responsibilities, first-generation status. These shape the texture of a life in ways that gender alone doesn't capture. To speak of women's equality without holding all of that is to tell only the part of the story that was easiest to hear. Without considering intersectionality, we risk celebrating progress for a narrow cohort while the structural barriers facing everyone else stay firmly in place. I've come to believe that none of this moves without people willing to be genuine allies. Not performative allyship that shows up on days like today and disappears on the 9th March but the sustained, sometimes uncomfortable work of people who use their position, their voice and their access to open doors they could just as easily have walked through alone. I've had allies who changed the trajectory of my career. That kind of grace stays with you, and it asks something of you in return. Today I find myself thinking not only of ceilings, but of all the women still finding their way to the door of the building. The ones still navigating systems that weren’t designed with them in mind. The ones whose ambition was never in doubt, but who were held back by the infrastructure around them. They deserve the infrastructure of genuine possibility and that's the conversation worth having. Every day, not just today. Flashback photo to myself and the ever wonderful Jules Stobie who spent many years as the only women on our team, albeit with some amazing allies around us. Growing up in a beach town in Cape Town, the idea of working for — let alone representing — a global organisation like Accenture once felt unthinkable. It has truly been the privilege of my career. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given, the challenges that shaped me, and most of all the people — colleagues, partners, and clients — who made the journey meaningful. The relationships built over two decades are what I’ll value most. It is deeply gratifying to see Accenture’s ecosystem of technology partnerships evolving into a truly strategic growth engine, and I’m proud to have played a small part in this journey. To everyone I’ve worked alongside across Europe and beyond — thank you for the trust, the teamwork, and successes we shared. I’m excited about what comes next and look forward to staying in touch. From the very beginning of our partnership with Faculty, it was clear that this was something special. Over the past two years, I’ve been closely involved in shaping a relationship built on a shared belief: that AI, applied responsibly and at scale, can unlock extraordinary potential for organisations across the UK and Ireland. This step brings that belief to life. By combining Faculty’s deep applied AI expertise and exceptional talent with Accenture’s industry knowledge, global scale, and transformation capabilities, we are significantly strengthening our ability to help UK&I clients move beyond pilots and proofs of concept to real, enterprise-wide impact. For our clients, this is about harnessing #AI to fundamentally reimagine their operations: revolutionising decision-making, elevating value creation, and empowering people to do their best work. At a time when productivity, resilience, and growth matter more than ever, AI will be a defining lever for UK&I competitiveness in the decade ahead. I am incredibly proud of the teams on both sides who have helped build this partnership from the ground up, and excited about what this means for our clients, our people, and the UK and Ireland economy. The launch of the AI Skills Boost by DSIT, with PwC UK as delivery partner, marks an important moment for the UK’s capability agenda. As public services, local authorities and national bodies look to adopt artificial intelligence safely and effectively, access to high quality skills will shape both the pace and the success of that transformation. PwC’s recent research with more than 500 UK employers highlights the scale of the challenge: • 96% report an AI skills gap • 91% believe this shortfall could negatively affect their organisation • Yet only 31% have fully embedded AI into core processes This makes clear that capability, not technology, is now the defining barrier to progress. The AI Skills Boost helps address this gap. Delivered through the AI Skills Hub, which PwC designed and operates with Innovate UK, the programme provides free foundational training for adults across the country. It contributes to the Government’s ambition to upskill 10 million people by 2030, offering 14 spotlighted courses, including four that lead to a government backed Foundation Badge. Together, these form a structured and accessible pathway into AI capability for the wider workforce, regardless of role or background. For those working across government and the broader public sector, this initiative demonstrates the value of coordinated national action in building the skills needed for responsible and effective AI adoption. It also reinforces PwC’s role as a trusted partner in delivering complex, large scale programmes that support long term public value. As we look ahead to 2026, what’s top of mind for #engineering leaders? The latest Capgemini Research Institute survey of 1,500 global executives reveals that while AI adoption is accelerating, many organizations still face uncertainty around R&D goals and how to measure success. Key findings from the report include: 💰78% of firms saw engineering costs rise in the last three years, and nearly half (48%) saw time-to-market get longer 🎯American companies are leading the charge to reverse this trend, with 73% prioritizing digital R&D to enhance efficiency — outpacing their European counterparts (60%) 💡84% of firms are increasing #AI investments in R&D, seeing it as the most powerful lever to improve speed and reduce costs The takeaway is clear: incremental change is not enough. The future of engineering requires strategic reinvention powered by AI and digital tools. What’s your organization’s biggest engineering challenge right now? Share your thoughts below. Engineering and R&D are at an inflection point. Rising costs, longer time-to-market, and persistent talent shortages are reshaping how industries, from automotive to life sciences, innovate and deliver. The latest Engineering and R&D Pulse 2026 from the Capgemini Research Institute sheds light on this transformation. The message is clear: leaders must act now to build resilience and speed through AI, digitization, and stronger ecosystem partnerships. A few insights that stood out for me: 🔹 78% of organizations report rising engineering costs, with nearly half seeing slower development cycles. 🔹 Over 75% expect AI to drive 20–50% gains in productivity and time-to-market. 🔹 Yet, less than one-third feel ready to face ongoing disruptions , from supply chain shocks to geopolitical uncertainty. The combination of human ingenuity and digital capability has never been more critical. Organizations that succeed will be those that can marry advanced technologies with agile, collaborative engineering models. I highly recommend exploring this report for a data-driven view of where engineering is headed and how to prepare for it: https://lnkd.in/ewrY_te5 #Engineering #RandD #Innovation #AI #DigitalTransformation

I’m excited to share that we at Capgemini Research Institute have just published the 2026 edition of "B2B Pulse for Telcos", our annual study exploring the evolving needs, challenges, and expectations of business customers across sectors. This year’s key insight is clear: next‑generation networks must integrate AI, automation, and autonomy to unlock new use cases and accelerate value creation across industries. 🔍 The big question we explored: How can telcos redefine their role in an evolving B2B ecosystem and truly position themselves as strategic partners in digital transformation? Our latest research identifies six strategic imperatives to win in connectivity and beyond: 📈 Growth partner 🧩 Ecosystem orchestrator 🛰️ Network innovation architect ⚙️ AI transformation engine 🛡️ Trusted ally ⚡ Personalized and simplified experience provider Together, these imperatives form a practical telco playbook for accelerated growth, moving beyond connectivity to long‑term value creation. 📘 Read our report, “The B2B pulse for telcos: Six strategic imperatives to win in connectivity and beyond,” and explore how to turn these imperatives into impact: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gXVKnaYJ #CapgeminiResearchInstitute #Telecom #B2B #AI #Networks #DigitalTransformation #TelcoInnovation #MWC26 Praveen Shankar, Frederic V., Aurélie Lesouëf, Anne-Flore AGARD, Ragupathy Vellappa, Jerome Buvat, Subrahmanyam KVJ, Sroddha Patra, Anil Sharma

Yesterday Capgemini, in partnership with Aston University, we proudly launched a new Centre of Excellence for Enterprise AI — a major step forward in helping UK businesses harness the power of AI. This Centre brings together world-class academic research and global industry leadership to accelerate enterprise AI adoption. Our collaboration builds on Aston University's strengths in innovation and Capgemini’s deep experience in industry transformation and technology. I had the pleasure of hosting a lively and insightful panel discussion with Symon Garfield, Sajjad Khan, Iqra Ansari, and David Leslie, exploring how organisations can move from experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption of GenAI.
