Frequently asked questions.
What can we actually see in real time?
Material from inbound tickets through processing and WIP to finished goods, at every yard. Volume by material, position by location, and material in transit between yards are all visible without exporting to a spreadsheet.
How is inventory cost calculated?
Real-time weighted average cost. When material moves through a processing job, costs are applied per commodity and the resulting WAC is recalculated — and you can preview the new cost before committing the job.
How do we handle counts, regrades, and adjustments?
Physical counts support bulk updates, and regrades and adjustments are captured with a full audit trail rather than overwritten. Every adjustment carries who, when, and why, so inventory reconciliation reports tie out.
Can we spot inventory problems before month-end?
Yes. Exception reports flag aging inventory, shipped-uninvoiced material, and unapproved tickets as they occur, so data quality issues surface during the month instead of during close.
Does it work in metric?
Yes. ReSpark runs in imperial or metric units, and the interface is available in English and Spanish.
