Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Qarera (“we,” “us”) - including the website at qarera.com, our free career tools and AI resume builder, the Qarera browser extension, and the Qarera app and connector inside ChatGPT and other assistants. By using any of these, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.

The service

Qarera provides a job-search platform: searching and tracking job listings, an AI-assisted resume builder and tailoring, match scoring, and related free tools. These features are offered free of charge. Auto-apply, described below, is the one paid feature. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Auto-apply and credits

Auto-apply fills in an employer’s application form with your CV and your answers and, once you approve it, submits it for you. You are responsible for what you approve: check every answer before you send it. Each application sent uses one credit. New accounts get a number of free credits; more are sold in one-time packs. There is no subscription.

If you turn on “Apply for me”, you authorize Qarera to submit the applications you start with Auto-apply on your behalf without asking you each time: once a form is filled in, we send it. This includes answers we write from your CV for questions you have not answered yourself, and you are responsible for these applications as if you had approved them. We still ask you first when a form needs something only you can provide, such as a code the employer emails you. You can turn Apply for me off at any time in Auto-apply; that stops future sends, not applications already sent.

  • If an approved application is not submitted, or you cancel it before it is sent, its credit is returned automatically.
  • Credits do not expire, cannot be transferred to another account, and have no cash value.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase and handles applicable taxes. Its terms also apply to the payment.
  • To ask for a refund of a pack you have not used, email us within 14 days of buying it. Where the law where you live gives you further rights, those apply.
  • We limit how often auto-apply sends to the same employer, and we may stop auto-apply for a job board or employer that does not accept it. Credits are returned for anything we do not send.
  • A credit pays for sending an application. It does not buy an interview, an offer, or any other outcome.

Your account

Some features require an account, which you create using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the content you add (such as resume details). Keep your sign-in secure.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Qarera for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ rights.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its APIs.
  • Don’t submit content you don’t have the right to use, or that is false or misleading.
  • Don’t resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

AI-generated content

Qarera uses AI to generate resume suggestions, rewrites, match scores, and similar output. This output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review everything before you rely on or submit it. Qarera does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific job-search outcome.

Third-party job listings

Job listings and related details may originate from third-party sources and employers. We don’t control and can’t guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listing. Verify details and apply at your own discretion. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites’ own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual property

Qarera and its software, design, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as your resume); you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service and deliver its features to you.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qarera is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Qarera at any time and request deletion of your account data. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or harms the service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
