Tiffany Ashitey reposted thisTiffany Ashitey reposted thisIf you're reading this: You do not need more information. You need to take the first step. I remember standing at the edge of a decision for months, convinced I needed one more sign, one more confirmation, one more feeling of readiness. Through prayer, fasting, and wise council, I recognized that readiness is a choice and I needed to make it. According to behavioral science research, the number one reason people fail to reach their goals is not lack of knowledge. It is the gap between intention and action. You already know enough. You have researched enough. You have planned enough. What you need now is a single, imperfect, courageous move forward. So today, write down the ONE thing you have been putting off. Then do just the first step. Not all of it. Just the first one. If you are taking the step today, drop a 👟 in the comments. Tiffany Ashitey shared thisJournalists and Writers: Job Alert🚨Tiffany Ashitey shared thisHello writers! Job alert! Last month, I started at CNN as their new executive editor for health & wellness. My primary responsibility right now is overseeing editorial for a new wellness app we’re building. Which means I’m hiring! These are kind of weird jobs, in a good/fun way. I’m thinking of the app as a new form of service journalism. We’ll be creating text, audio and video stories that will essentially function as rigorously fact-checked Reddit threads: They should address people’s needs and aspirations, helping them understand and navigate complex subjects while providing useful, tested ideas they can directly apply to their lives. Whenever possible, I want these solutions to feel fresh and surprising and even FUN. Interest in health and wellness is crucial, obviously. A background in journalism is preferred, but not strictly necessary. Excellent story judgment and a low threshold for boredom ARE necessary. If that sounds intriguing, let’s talk! I’ll include the link to the job posting in the comments.

Tiffany Ashitey shared thisThrowback to one of my fave on-stage moments— The Podcast Show London. 🇬🇧🎙️ The energy of a live audience. Getting to geek out about podcasting, the creator economy, and what it really takes to build something that lasts — on a global stage. This event never misses — and neither does a panel with great people in the room and on stage (s/o to Molly DeMellier 🎉) Looking forward to the next one. Until then, shoutout to everyone in Londontown this week for The Podcast Show— soak it all in! ✨ #ThePodcastShow #Podcasting #CreatorEconomy #London

Tiffany Ashitey reposted thisTiffany Ashitey reposted thisI’ve been quietly scrolling through LinkedIn for months, sad for everyone who’s lost their jobs over the past year or more, and secretly wishing that I could take the grief, fear, anger, and disappointment from each of you. As I’ve read your posts, I’ve wanted to rescue you from the feelings of insecurity that haunt anyone who’s searching for belonging in a world that wants to make you feel as if you are not enough for the rooms you’re meant to dominate. I’ve also wanted to commune with you, hear your hurts, and supernaturally lift you from the valleys that are eating away at your confidence. I’ve been publicly quiet, but privately praying and strategizing the many ways I can add value as I navigate my own valley and seek professional refuge from exact storm that many of you are weathering. Because I’m a well-respected strategist, podcaster, community builder, and host, I wanted to come to LinkedIn with solutions and a check that could bridge the gap for every hurting heart and under-supported professional! I wanted to have the perfect solution that would resuscitate hope and empower my community to operate in confidence and resources. And, I DON’T have those in hand just yet. But what I do have are small doses of hope that can help you sustain your faith in turbulent times and renew your sense of self today. So let me fill your cup today with these reminders: 📍You are brilliant, and you bring world-changing value to every room you enter! 📍The people that don’t understand you are not meant to receive from you. 📍Your power is far greater than the pain you’re experiencing right now. 📍Your light can never be diluted by the darkness of someone else’s heart. As you go about your day, give yourself grace and trust that this season of professional pressure is a launchpad for your personal power! #personalpower #fillyourcup #perspective #mentalhealth

Tiffany Ashitey reposted thisTiffany Ashitey reposted thisWe’re proud to share that ABF Creative is facilitating the new Audible Creator Development Program in Newark. This three-day intensive is designed to help emerging storytellers from Newark and North Jersey develop original ideas for audio. As someone who built a company in Newark, this one means a lot. There is no shortage of talent here. What’s often missing is access, pathways, and opportunities connected to world-class platforms. That’s why programs like this matter. Writers. Filmmakers. Podcasters. Artists. Storytellers. If you have something real to say and have wondered how your ideas could live in audio, this is for you. Proud of our team. Grateful for the opportunity. Excited for the creators who will step into this room. And happy to have the genius of Keisha (TK) Dutes guiding the way! Applications are now open. https://lnkd.in/eni5BXnC

Tiffany Ashitey reposted thisTiffany Ashitey reposted this"May You Find the Courage to Disappoint People Who Expect You to Stay Small." Well, I say. This feels so on point for this moment that I’m calling 'Pivot Season.' With so many people figuring out how to tell the story of their work – or the community they’re covering, it feels like creative leaders, journalists, and founders are dealing with this battle quietly. I get it – you can read all about that in my newsletter, but, the reason why this post hit me in the chest is because language that relies on the resume, aka the jobs that don’t reflect what you’re doing today. You’re bigger than that. Navigating pivots is scary, but you - and your audience deserve seeing you show up fully on the mic, page, or stage. Telling the story that represents how you’re showing up fully today isn’t easy. It requires you to ask big questions about your North Star and your authentic voice. You also need a safe space to do it, and someone who can guide you toward finding your answers. It’s editorial development, but with the fuller, broader picture of the platform you’re building. I’m asking those questions and providing the space in my three-week cohort, called ‘Close Your Narrative Gap. The inaugural cohort kicks off on March 16 - that's 13 days away. It's the intentionally sized space designed to help you: - Define Your Narrative and move beyond the old titles. - Find Your Power by owning your journey. - Create Authentically with a voice that is finally all your own. You’ve done the hard work. Now, let’s make sure you’re ready to disappoint all the right people by being as big and brilliant as you were always meant to be. Tiffany Ashitey reacted on thisTiffany Ashitey reacted on thisFor the first half of this year, I've been heads down working with clients and it's been one of the most rewarding seasons of my career. Every week, I get to spend time with women who have built successful careers, developed deep expertise, and accomplished things they once only dreamed about. Many were asking themselves the same questions: How do I create income outside of my job? What do I do with all of this experience I've accumulated over the years? One client recently negotiated her first $5000 brand partnership and is already positioning herself for larger opportunities. Another is preparing to launch a financial literacy and legacy program rooted in decades of professional experience. Another is exploring how to turn years of expertise into a business that creates more flexibility and freedom for her family. Different women. Different industries. Different goals. But all of them are investing in themselves and creating opportunities beyond the careers they've already built. Over the last several months, I've been thinking deeply about how to create more space for more women like my amazing clients. More space to think, explore ideas, ask questions, get feedback, and take action. That's what led me to create SHIFT. SHIFT is a coaching experience for ambitious women who want to create income, opportunity, and options beyond their job. I'm intentionally keeping the group intimate, just 10 women, because the work we're doing requires more than information. It requires conversation, feedback, accountability, and space to think through what's next. Inside SHIFT, I help you to: ✨ Get clear on what you want next using my SHIFT Framework ✨ Identify a business idea rooted in your experience and strengths ✨ Develop an offer people will pay for ✨ Create a roadmap toward your first clients ✨ Move forward with support, accountability, and community Applications are now open. I can't wait to work with you. (Link in first comment)

Tiffany Ashitey reacted on thisTiffany Ashitey reacted on thisA LinkedIn post sent me to Cannes in '24. Remember that? Last year it really took off — and I missed it. Not this time. Yes - there are ton of celebs, events, etc, but here's where I'll be for sure👇 🌊 ALL WEEK with Sprout Social, Inc. I'll be serving as a "counselor" — sharing takeaways, keeping the energy up, and being a resource all week to the best group chat. 🌟 TUESDAY is packed: 9A — Facilitating a private breakfast with Whitney Magnuson (Zoom) with some seriously impressive creatorpreneurs. More on that later. 👀 12PM — Adcolor & Microsoft Panel: "Open to Create: How AI Makes Creative Entrepreneurs Irreplaceable" alongside THE Nicole Leverich (CCO Microsoft), Nathalie Krup (Microsoft) moderated by Neisha Tweed Bell — come through! 2PM — Salon Conversations Panel: "Show Me The Money - Diversifying Creator Revenue" with Tyler Denk 🐝 (CEO Beehiiv), Maria Teresa Hernandez, M.S.(Yellow House Collective), Matthew Prince (CEO, Cloudflare) talking creator monetization beyond brand deals. This one is going to be GOOD. 🎙️ WEDNESDAY Life360 Lunch & Interviews: I get to facilitate a meaningful conversation on relationships, routines, and the people that matter most at a private lunch, and then Vanessa Confessore is turning me loose on the Croisette with a microphone getting all up in people's business. 😂 I'm sooo excited for all the magic coming this upcoming week! 🚀 BUT HERE'S *MY* GOAL: Represent is building the ecosystem for creators to find expert networks, opportunities and systems of support. So, we are looking to find mission-aligned brands, strategic partners, and investors who want to see more "middle class" creators grow as entrepreneurs and create sustainability in their careers! We have sponsorship opportunities available for the Nashville Creator Summit in September... If you're a brand, investor, or creator leader who wants in — this is your sign. DM me or find me in Cannes this week. Let's go. 🤝

Tiffany Ashitey liked thisTiffany Ashitey liked thisSince 2018, attending Cannes Lions has lived on my bucket list. Next week, I’ll finally be there alongside some of the best and brightest minds in global marketing. I’m excited to connect, learn, and be inspired, but what makes this experience even more meaningful is attending as a first-time Cannes Lions creator with the support of the Sprout Social, Inc. Creator Network. I was always planning to document the experience, but now I get to take the storytelling to another level with an incredible community behind me. Shoutout to Curtis Midkiff, Jr., & Brittany Hennessy 🔜 Cannes Lions for leading the crew. And if that wasn’t enough, I’ll also be a first-time Cannes speaker, joining the conversation around access and networking with the Cannes Can: Diversity Collective at Inkwell Beach. If you're in Cannes come through on Wednesday for this discussion. I have a feeling next week is going to completely blow my mind. Follow along as I share the journey, lessons, conversations, and moments that make Cannes Lions what it is. See you in Cannes. You'll catch me with some lemons on. 💛 #CannesLions #SproutCannesCrew #InkwellBeach #CCDC2026

As an entrepreneur who has been podcasting against all odds for over 10yrs now, building while flying has been the only way I could keep going some days. Whew, Lord knows the work can be a LOT, but the reward is great as well. Thank you #claudiabotero @hollypendergast TUYYO FOODS for being so honest about your experiences and devoted to creating blueprints that other entrepreneurs can model. You’re amazing! Cate, you know how much I adore and respect you. Thank you for curating such vibrant community spaces! 😘😘😘 Entrepreneurs: partner, collab, share resources, and connect with other like minded people. That’s the only way!

Want to know what reporters are ACTUALLY asking for at Black Hat this year? Spoiler alert, “We use AI” is not a story. I’ve broken down five trends the press is watching closely for the @Kickstand blog, from the ongoing talent gap to the very real question of what “open” means when Google gobbles up Wiz. Some questions we explore: What SHOULDN’T AI touch? Who’s responsible for open source code no one is paid to maintain? How do you scale AppSec when half your app is 40-year-old code? If you’re heading to Vegas with a security story to tell, here are some pointers to make sure someone actually listens. 👇 Give it a read, and reach out if you want help sharpening your narrative. #BlackHat2025 #Cybersecurity #PR #Storytelling #AI #OpenSource #AppSec https://bit.ly/4lOR0vn

It's not every day you get to sit down and chat with the CEO of a $1.5bn+ publicly listed company... I was lucky enough to when Lisa Utzschneider from Integral Ad Science agreed to do that and also agreed to record the conversation for the Giants of Media podcast. A few highlights from our chat: 1️⃣ From safety to ROI – Verification is no longer just about avoiding bad adjacencies; it’s about removing waste and fueling growth. 2️⃣ Who grades the homework? – With platforms controlling 70%+ of digital ad spend, does independent verification matter? 3️⃣ What’s next? – AI-powered classification, solving the CTV measurement puzzle, and keeping ahead of fraud. Really enjoyed this episode and thanks as always to AdLib: DSP Advertising Made Easy for allowing it to happen. Links in comments.
