In staffing, speed wins placements, and in healthcare staffing, compliance can't slip while you chase that speed. That's the problem KarmaCheck AI Workforce is built to solve: streamlining screening, compliance, and credentialing, with real-time visibility into every step. AI Workforce augments your team rather than replacing it, and every check is still verified. Faster placements. Fewer drop-offs. The same trust KarmaCheck is known for. Eric Ly reposted thisEric Ly reposted thisConfusing placement requirements? Chasing candidates for what's missing? Ordering screenings you didn't need? Tracking every file to completion by hand? That's credentialing today, and it slows down every placement. AI Workforce does the credentialing. Bigger desks, same team. It consolidates the requirements for each placement, recommends the screenings needed and drives each file to completion. Your team monitors status and approves actions, individually or as a batch. The result: placements executed faster and more accurately, saving hours per candidate. Eric Ly liked thisEric Ly liked thisCongratulations to Wesley B. on being named a 2026 CW Program Game Changer by Staffing Industry Analysts. 👏 As Global Head of External Workforce at Block, Wesley oversees a contingent labor program across 40 countries — and has spent years building AI-powered enablement and classification tools rather than simply administering a process. He calls it leading "the AI-native charge in the external workforce space," and he's not wrong. "I want to take our industry into areas where people didn't always think we could go." That ambition is what pulls the whole contingent workforce industry forward. Thanks for pushing on it, Wesley — and congratulations.

Eric Ly liked thisWe don't have a numbers problem in nurse staffing. We have an engagement puzzle. And that is a challenge we're solving every day at Nursa. Wonderful to have had the chance to discuss this with Saul W. Marquez.Eric Ly liked thisSix clinicians request every job posted on Nursa’s platform. In this episode, Curtis Anderson, Founder and CEO of Nursa, talks about how a two-sided marketplace is changing the way facilities and clinicians connect. Curtis shares how Nursa evolved from a manual staffing agency process into a platform that offers choice and flexibility, from urgent per diem shifts to block bookings and permanent placement. He also explains why he believes there are enough nurses and what it takes to keep them engaged in the work. Tune in to learn how a more flexible, clinician-centered approach could help get a nurse to the bedside of every patient in need! Listen to the complete episode here: https://lnkd.in/gJgZK2Pv

Eric Ly liked thisEric Ly liked thisI think we need to pay close attention to what Microsoft just announced. This is more than a workforce reduction announcement. I see it as a statement about the future of work. Consider what Microsoft knows through its relationship with OpenAI, its ownership of LinkedIn and the business tools millions of us use every day. Few companies understand the technology, the workforce and how work gets done as well as Microsoft. My read: Microsoft recognizes that how companies create value is changing, and it’s taking aggressive action to change how it operates. Some AI-native companies are growing rapidly and generating extraordinary revenue with small teams. They get to build around AI from day one. Established companies have a harder assignment: rethink how they work. I expect more decisions like this across established businesses as they start to see what Microsoft is seeing. I’m not excited about that. There are people, families and careers behind these decisions. But building a company around AI and changing a successful company to operate around AI are very different challenges. When a company with Microsoft’s knowledge takes action on this scale, we should pay attentionMicrosoft offers voluntary buyouts to 60,000 employees as AI leads to efficiency pushMicrosoft offers voluntary buyouts to 60,000 employees as AI leads to efficiency push

Eric Ly liked thisEric Ly liked thisIn technology, the winner is never the company with the prettiest product on day one. It is the company that gets to the future first. When cars replaced horses, or when the internet showed up in the nineties, the people who waited for everything to make sense got run over. The founders who won were the ones willing to jump into the mess while the tools were still clunky and nobody had a playbook. I see the same thing happening with AI today. Too many people want to wait until the dust settles and the tools feel safe. But by the time a shift feels safe, someone else already owns your market. Across every business Kass and I have built or backed, we never waited around for an instruction manual. We started testing tools inside our daily operations right away. We use automation to strip away the repetitive grunt work. That frees up our team to focus on what software cannot do: build relationships and make real judgment calls. You do not need a clean roadmap to start moving. You just have to be willing to work through the mess before everyone else does. Where are you experimenting with AI in your business right now?

Eric Ly liked thisEric Ly liked thisI'll be speaking at Staffing Industry Analysts 2026 Healthcare Staffing Summit, November 9th through 11th in Arlington, Texas, to share more about our journey at Freedom Healthcare Staffing to elevate the clinician experience with the right tools, technology, and a healthy dose of human connection. As we explore the possibilities of AI, one question continues to guide our thinking: How do we use technology to create more meaningful human connections, not fewer? For us, it's not about replacing the personal touch that makes this industry special. It's about giving our teams the capacity, insights, and tools to deliver it more consistently, thoughtfully, and at scale. I'm looking forward to joining the conversation on "People First, AI Powered: Scaling Nurse Engagement Without Losing the Human Touch", sharing what we're learning along the way, and hearing how others are approaching this opportunity. Will I see you in Arlington? 🤠 🌵 #HCStaffSummit #FreedomHCS #AI #HealthcareSolutions #WorkforceStrategy

Human Cloud

RELEASING TOMORROW: Eric Ly, co-founder of LinkedIn, now Co-Founder & CEO of KarmaCheck, on the Human Cloud Podcast. Here is a preview. Credentialing is the unsung hero of healthcare, and Eric explains why in under two minutes. Every nurse and doctor who takes care of you had to be checked and certified before they could touch a patient. Most people never think about that step. Health systems think about it constantly, because it is the path to reimbursement. Eric's point: the regulations got more complicated, and the tools to handle them did not. So health systems solved it the expensive way. They hired more administrators. The full episode is about bending that curve, and why the same fix applies to every talent leader. Full episode drops tomorrow, September 26. Listen here: https://lnkd.in/enveyCF4 -------- We're Human Cloud. We help the world's best companies find the world's best flexible talent solutions so they can build their flexible workforce. From marketing, to tech, to forward deployed consulting, companies on Human Cloud don't just find talent, they build the partnership layer that brings their talent strategy from full time and fragile to flexible and resilient. If you’re not tuned into #TalentConnect…you’re missing out 👀 It’s been so great to spend time with talent leaders discussing how jobs, skills and businesses are changing. AI has a hand in this, but it’s not the whole story. Hiring is down 30% globally, but applications per applicant are up 30%, compared to pre-pandemic levels. AI has created nearly 2 million new jobs globally in just over three years (!), and the skills employers are looking for are changing twice as fast as the skills U.S. workers are adding to their profiles. (Add your AI skills to your profile folks!) Recruiters are feeling it! They’re at the center, making sure their companies have the skills and teams needed for what’s next. We’re excited to introduce Hiring Assistant 2 to help recruiters spend less time on the mechanics of hiring and more time on the decisions that need their judgement. There’s a lot more to come from #TalentConnect. Join the livestream now: https://lnkd.in/da7AVYP4

We have to be definitively, even defiantly, pro-human about the future of work right now. And that’s more radical than it sounds. Work is changing fast. You can see it. You can feel it. The structures and systems around us are being reshaped by AI and we’re now entering the messy middle of transformation for workers and workforces. There’s real disruption in that, felt by people and communities all over the world. Being pro-human, especially for leaders, means bringing to this moment clarity, care and, importantly, a true pro-human ambition so that we create more economic opportunity, not less. That pro-human posture is going to become necessary for every organization as work in the age of AI shifts from a focus on machine-like efficiency to the kind of innovation and entrepreneurialism only humans can deliver. Together, across sectors and societies, we can all build a better, more human world of work at the other end of this moment. I know we can. But I also know that being definitively, even defiantly, pro-human is the only way we’ll get there. That’s where I landed after a conversation with Aaron Levie, Clara Shih, and Bob Safian recently.
