Dom Wong shared thisIn the last 60 days, Pogo ran 100,000 research interviews with purchase-verified shoppers. Today, we're giving you access to everything. It's called Insights Library: a new type of research engine that answers questions about your customers, competitors, or category on demand, in seconds. No need to launch a new study. No need to wait. We even push studies to you. With Insights Library, you simply ask Pogo any question across any hundreds of topics, categories and brands, like: 🟣 How is GLP-1 reshaping snacks? 🟣 What would win back shoppers who stopped buying lettuce after the outbreak? 🟣 What's the biggest white space in non-alcoholic drinks? 🟣 Why are consumers switching from ChatGPT to Muse? Our research agent draws on our always-growing database of qual and quant studies to find the datapoints and analysis you need, immediately. And Insights Library never stops growing: 🟣 1 million interviews and responses by year-end 📈 🟣 Every one of them purchase-verified ✅ 🟣 New studies designed, fielded and filed automatically every week 🔁 (Note: custom studies you run with Pogo remain private to your brand) Need to explore something happening in your category, like a product launch, a recall, or a viral story? Pogo’s research agents are already on it. For the first time, brands can answer research questions with insights from real shoppers, without ever launching a study. At Pogo, we’re building the largest source of verified human truth. Find out more at https://lnkd.in/eF2MKbdd. To request a free trial comment POGO below.

Dom Wong shared thisBot fraud is coming for video interviews. 48% of people who had a video call with Tavus's new AI model thought it was a real person 🤯 Soon, qualitative consumer research platforms are going to be flooded with bots that breeze through screeners and interviews. Feels inevitable. This is why we believe pre-screening respondents based on verified behavior is becoming table stakes. At Pogo, we allow brands to select respondents based on observed purchases, so they can be confident that they're getting real insights from real humans. Crazy times we live in!Dom Wong shared thisToday we're introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the real-time video Turing test. On live video, 48% of people who talked to it thought it was a real person. Previous systems, including our own, had less than a 3% pass rate. It is also #1 on the NVIDIA benchmark for realtime full-duplex AI video. It's the first Human Interaction Model (HIM): a new class of video-to-video, unified full-duplex models that listen, watch, talk, gesture and react at the same time, like a person. At Tavus, we want computing to become invisible, to feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker. You shouldn’t have to turn a messy thought into a perfect prompt, or explain “this” when you’re pointing right at it. A tutor with their eyes closed misses the confusion on your face. And an apology means very little when it comes with a smile. These details are the difference between feeling understood and having to manage the machine. The solution to this is human computing. Human communication is a dance: the timing, the expression, the give and take. Griffin is a huge step forward in understanding and returning those signals much like a human would. The idea is that even though you know its AI, it fades into the background, you talk without having to think, you feel understood. This is the biggest research leap we've ever made at Tavus. Incredibly proud of the team and excited to welcome this new chapter in human computing.

Dom Wong shared this"It's not about losing weight anymore. It's about having the energy to keep up with my kids." That’s real feedback shared by a verified GLP-1 user in an interview with Pogo. ⬇️ In October 2023, three quarters of our panel had ruled these drugs out. Today, only two-thirds say they’re not planning to use one. That’s a big change in public attitude, and it’s more apparent every quarter. Is your brand ready for the next stage of GLP-1 adoption? Comment POGO below for the full study and see.👇

Dom Wong shared thisWhen we used Pogo to analyze longitudinal, multi year purchase trends for prescription verified GLP-1 users, something in the data surprised us. ⬇️ As expected, highly processed snacks are down. Protein and back-to-basics items like pretzels are up. Given that impulse and cravings play less of a role in users’ shopping, it makes sense. Then, there’s gum and mints. Despite their higher ingredient count and candy-aisle location, they’re up by 10%. What’s going on? For some users, gum and mints are functioning less like candy and more like symptom management for GLP-1 side-effects. “When I’ve increased my dosage and feel a little nauseous, I find that mints or even a hard candy will help,” says one GLP-1 user. “I do buy more gum and mints.” “My mouth gets dry a lot” says another user. “Instead of drinking a lot, I like to chew gum.” For others, meanwhile, it’s just satisfying: a taste of something sweet that doesn’t make you feel full. It’s food for thought. Want to learn more about this freshly minted shopper cohort? Comment POGO below to see a full study.

Dom Wong shared thisWaymo just crossed 500,000 rides a week. This week on Humans of Pogo, we asked 3,845 purchase-verified Waymo riders what it’s really like to be in a car with no one behind the wheel. It starts as a party. "I really like that backseat karaoke - singing at the top of my lungs like a crazy person." But it's more than just fun. "Self-driving vehicles are safer than human-driven ones - in the long run, this is going to save thousands and thousands of lives." A year ago this was a novelty. Now, it's becoming a habit - and riders are starting to trust it more than they trust other drivers. Comment POGO below to get the full study on Waymo 👇 What topic should we run next?

Dom Wong shared thisThe biggest rivalry in America isn’t politics. It’s Coke Zero vs. Diet Coke - a fierce divide chronicled by The WSJ. This week on Humans of Pogo, we went straight to the data - 65,155 receipt verified Diet Coke and Coke Zero drinkers in the past 90 days - to see what’s really driving the loyalty. What we heard is that this rivalry isn't about much more than taste. It's about identity. "Coke Zero to me is like the bougie Coke. I feel like it's a very rich person drinking with their pinky up - never drinks out of the can. Whereas Diet Coke just gets the can, opens it, and drinks it." And the loyalty runs deep on both sides. Coke Zero is winning new drinkers who see it as the modern pick, with volume up 14% last year. Diet Coke stayed flat - but it's holding onto lifelong fans. Dom Wong liked thisSo grateful to have had the opportunity to work for Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA at SCAN. The most important lesson I have taken away - and Sachin’s post underlines it - is that life is long, and treating teammates as individuals you’ll have a relationship with for decades is the only way to lead. To illustrate it further, it’s now fun to recall my interview process at SCAN…it was a few months into the pandemic, and I flew to LA for my final round with Sachin. The process was atypical…we talked about life and family alongside offer terms over quesadillas and concluded the interview with a 6am tennis lesson where we shook hands on working together (even though I beat him in match play!). Honored to be able to continue to learn from him as an investor/advisor to Diverge Health, particularly as we enter this next chapter with Medical Home Network. https://lnkd.in/gXU93N5mDom Wong liked thisSix years ago, I met Binoy Bhansali as he was transitioning out of the The Blue Venture Fund. SCAN was beginning a journey to diversify, and I asked him to join us to lead corporate development. Over the next few years, we worked together to launch several new initiatives, including SCAN’s venture investing arm and four new care delivery companies. Binoy was one of the best colleagues I’ve ever had: thoughtful, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to improving care. As we worked together, I asked him if might ever think about leading a business. He was a natural—able to build, motivate, and inspire a team and also drive towards outcomes. He said he hadn’t thought about it—he saw himself as an investor—but he would give it some thought. One day, a year later, he came to me nervously. He had a new opportunity to lead a business and wanted to know what I thought. When he described the idea—working with medical groups to improve care for people enrolled in Medicaid—I told him what I really thought, even though it meant losing a valued partner and friend: “How can you not do this?” With an additional year working together under our belts, I was further convinced it leading a business would be a better use of his talent. He went on to co-found Diverge Health. Four years later, I’m in awe of what he is building. Alongside growing a successful enterprise, Binoy and the Diverge team recently announced a merger with Medical Home Network, a pioneering company led by friend Cheryl Lulias that I have long admired. MHN has a long history of partnering with federally qualified health centers to improve care for vulnerable populations. Bringing these organizations together has the potential to build on that work and reach even more people who deserve better care. I’ll admit: it was hard to say goodbye when Binoy left SCAN. But it has been a true pleasure—and an honor—to watch him build something meaningful in service of vulnerable patients. I couldn’t be prouder of him. Dom Wong reacted on thisDom Wong reacted on thisWe started Diverge Health with a question we couldn't shake. Two decades of investment had primarily focused on bringing value-based care to Medicare (vs. Medicaid), and for many good reasons: Medicaid is nuanced, there are state by state differences that make scaling complex, and the population spans from kids to working adults to older Americans. So who was building for the practices caring for patients on Medicaid? Not many organizations. And those providers and their patients need the help as much as anyone. Four years later, we are continuing to build in Medicaid, and now, I am excited to share that we are merging with Medical Home Network. Together, we'll create one of the largest value-based care organizations focused on serving under-resourced communities. Cheryl Lulias, Arthur Jones and the entire MHN team have spent more than 15 years supporting FQHCs. MHN has a storied history, they have produced results at scale, and most importantly, the team is doing this (hard) work for the right reasons - the stories that get them up out of bed every day are the same ones that we are fueled by at Diverge…a patient who is on a path to leading a healthier and happier life, a provider who has peace of mind that their patients are well supported between visits. Together, we have a business with an extraordinary opportunity for impact. That includes nine states, 20+ payor contracts across Medicaid and Medicare, and partnerships with FQHCs and independent practices to support nearly 500K members next year. A huge thank you to our teams who worked tirelessly to make this happen (Cheryl, Neha Sangoi, Marco Ramirez, Wendy Cox-Largent, Ronak Desai, MBA, Sabrina Barboza, Stuart Voges, Anne Robinson, Liza Winkel, Hannah Malone, Jayesh Srivastava, Danny Feltham), our combined leadership team, our founding partners at Triple Aim Partners (Andrew Hayek, Cory Roberts, Rich Sharff) and GV (Google Ventures) (Ben Robbins, Zach Brauer, Ryan Spiers), our new partners at Oak HC/FT (Eliza Adams, Vig Chandramouli, Andrew Adams, Will McNamara), and our practice and payor customers across the country who have placed their trust in us to help make the system better. Excited to continue building. https://lnkd.in/gT8vmM7fDiverge Health Merges with Medical Home Network to Strengthen Value-Based Care for Safety-Net Providers and Patients - Diverge HealthDiverge Health Merges with Medical Home Network to Strengthen Value-Based Care for Safety-Net Providers and Patients - Diverge Health

Dom Wong liked thisDom Wong liked this60%+ efficiency gains. Less admin work. More time for patient care. That's the impact we're driving alongside our specialty infusion partners at Paragon Healthcare, Inc. Elevance Health. We spent time with their team diving deep into the complexities of end-to-end infusion intake, benefits verification, and prior authorization (and more!) across both medical and pharmacy benefits. As Thomas Greinert shared: "Plenful has delivered 60%+ efficiency gains across our intake authorization workflows, and we're excited to continue expanding the partnership." At Plenful, we believe AI should do more than automate individual tasks. It should fundamentally transform the most complex healthcare workflows, freeing teams to focus on the patients who need them. Proud of what we're accomplishing together. Thank you, Tom and team, for the great partnership! Much more to come 🚀

Dom Wong reacted on thisPogo ran 100,000 interviews with purchase-verified shoppers in 60 days. Let that sink in because this is the important part. Pogo knows who purchased the products and can reach out to them for reactions, feedback, and vital intelligence for the brand. No one else can do that as effectively. NO ONE! Today they opened the whole library. Brands can ask any question about their customers or category and get an answer in seconds, no study required. One million responses by year-end. Pogo already owns the relationship with millions of verified purchasers. Pair that with its AI interviewer and a brand can get real feedback almost instantly from people who actually bought its product, or a competitor’s. No recruiting a panel, no waiting weeks for a study, and no relying on people to tell you what they bought. Proud that Mantis Venture Capitall is part of this one. Let’s go guys

A question I often get from LPs is how Operators Studio adds value to founders. Here are all the things I have been supporting portfolio founders with just over the last week: - Raising a follow-on as efficiently as possible, given the company recently hit a growth inflexion point: Everything from intros to deck prep to backchannels to structuring to.... - Flipping the business to Canada, raising a top-up to enable that: How to structure it? Valuation etc? - Thinking through two soft acquisition offers: Should we take it? What's the right price? How to structure it? - Dipsticks for two potential Series Bs in the Fall: What are investors looking for? What will be the key questions that need answering? Can we speak with a handful of friendlies? - Executive hiring at seed stage: Can you speak to a senior hire to convince them? How do we manage this awesome candidate who is asking for ridiculous equity without appropriate vesting? How do we structure comp given we are tight on cash? - A difficult conversation about major business headwinds: How do we survive? Or does it even make sense to survive? This is just the last week. Every second fund is trying to claim that "we are ex-operators"/ "we are founder-led capital"/ "we will help you build". At Operators Studio, I don't like to make these claims. I just show up every day, unblock founders in the trenches for years and years, and let our family of founders do the talking on our behalf.

Early stage assumptions either prove out or fall apart when distribution begins. Every single time. On October 7, I am joining the panel at GTM Unplugged LIVE, hosted by @Equity Angels, and conducting a live Q&A with @Court Lorenzini, founding CEO of @DocuSign. We will be exploring what sustainable customer traction actually requires once the easy playbooks stop working. I will be contributing perspective from @Elevate My Brand alongside what our team looks at with @Fabric VC, focusing on the day-to-day work of distribution from both operator and investor viewpoints. Credit to the organizers, the crew behind the scenes, and my fellow panelists for putting real sales execution and team effort front and center.

The "One Number" That Derails Fundraisers Most founders believe their fundraising fails because of market size, competition, or valuation. In reality, the single most common cause of early deal-kill in 2026 is Net Dollar Retention (NDR) / Cohort Churn misalignment. When institutional VCs run due diligence, they look straight past top-line ARR growth to test the underlying retention health: • High acquisition with high churn is just expensive customer acquisition. • Expansion revenue from existing logos (NDR > 110%+) proves true product-market fit and pricing power. Before going to market, founders must ensure their core operational data room tells a clear, undeniable story about customer retention and payback periods. At G+QUANT we partner with early-stage founders to structure institutional-grade investment decks, data rooms, and capital strategies that withstand rigorous VC due diligence. Founders: Have you stress-tested your retention cohort metrics prior to initiating your next round?
