  • Winning the convenience shopper starts with understanding what brings them through the door and what converts that visit into a purchase. At NACS, Jami McDermid joined D.J. White SVP, CORE and The Food Institute to discuss the evolution of convenience and how deeper shopper understanding can help brands and retailers create more relevant retail experiences. As foodservice and retail become increasingly connected, bringing shopper insights closer to decision-making can help brands identify opportunities and act on them faster. • From $4M to $35M+ in annual sales in three years. That’s what accelerated growth looks like. When Liquid I.V. set out to expand its presence in convenience, we brought the reach and deep channel expertise to help make it happen. At NACS, Rita Varano, Chris Klyczek and Christine Halloran shared how the partnership is helping Liquid I.V. capture opportunity across the channel, with plenty of white space still ahead.

  • Better together, built to win in convenience. By combining our retail expertise with CORE’s foodservice capabilities, we’re helping brands uncover more ways to grow across the c-store, from the shelf to the menu. See how that partnership is opening new doors for brands like Michael Foods. https://lnkd.in/ePt4wvYq

Your product might have more ways to win in c-stores than you think. Convenience is serving up a serious prepared food opportunity, and we know how to help brands find their place in it. From ingredients that build a better breakfast sandwich to products that can pull double duty at retail, we help brands uncover opportunities they may not have considered before. Hear from D.J. White and Mohammad Iqbal on how CORE and CROSSMARK are helping partners like Michael Foods attack convenience from both sides of the business. Don’t just get on the shelf. Get on the menu.

  • Our NACS 2026 team had a fantastic week exploring new opportunities for growth in Las Vegas!    We spent time with leaders from some of our favorite brands, spotlighted retail partners like Pogo, and collaborated with our teammates at CORE who are helping shape what's next in convenience foodservice.   The company and shared vision for growth made this year’s event one to remember. We look forward to continue turning great conversations into meaningful results.   Until next year, NACS!

  • NACS 2026 is underway, and our team is ready to talk convenience. Visit us at Booth N2928 to connect with our retail experts and discover new opportunities to get your products on shelves and into baskets.   And don't miss the CORE team, who are helping brands capitalize on convenience's growing role in the prepared foods market.

  • What if you could understand not just what shoppers are doing, but why they're doing it? That's why we're teaming up with Pogo. Our Accelerator analytics can pinpoint where a shift is happening. Pogo helps uncover what's driving it through real-time AI-enabled feedback from more than three million verified purchasers. The result? Faster, more confident decisions across assortment, pricing, promotion, retail execution, and more. See how we're evolving shopper intelligence: https://lnkd.in/gJa6kEUk

  • Check out Gina Acosta’s recap of our annual Associated Wholesale Grocers Summit and learn how CPG brands can unlock opportunity by investing in independent grocery. https://lnkd.in/p/ePMqG7yB

After a few busy weeks on the road and a lot of conversations with grocery leaders, one question has stuck with me: Are CPG brands overlooking independent grocery as a source of growth? At the recent AWG-CROSSMARK Summit, Associated Wholesale Grocers COO Joe Kelley made a compelling case for manufacturers to think differently about the channel. AWG supports approximately 3,500 retail locations across 33 states. That’s meaningful scale. But what stood out to me was the other side of the equation: Independent retailers can often make decisions and move with a speed that’s difficult to replicate at much larger national accounts. “The true strength of an independent is they can make a decision today and implement it tomorrow,” Kelley said. And his challenge to brands was even more interesting: Don’t wait until a product or program has proven itself at Walmart, Kroger or Costco Wholesale before bringing it to independents. Give them a chance to go first. That idea became the starting point for my latest piece on why independent grocery may deserve a different place in the CPG growth playbook. Thanks to the teams at AWG and CROSSMARK for the access and conversations that helped bring this story together. For 10 years, the annual CROSSMARK + Associated Wholesale Grocers Summit has brought retailers and industry partners together to help independent grocers grow in the communities they serve. From the C-suite to the store, the sentiment is the same: We’re all one team here. And with AWG celebrating its centennial, we had even more to cheer about. Thank you to everyone who made this summit one to remember! Catch the highlights 👇
