I am pleased to announce that Export Development Canada | Exportation et développement Canada has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nokia to collaborate on AI Gigafactories. Through this MOU, EDC will take part in early discussions on proposed AI infrastructure initiatives and assess where Canadian exporters and investors can contribute. Nokia is a strategic EDC customer as part of our Global Corporate Partnership program, which we developed to build long-term partnerships with major multinational companies operating in Canada. This framework for cooperation underscores our commitment to broader collaboration on sustainable AI development, while strengthening international partnerships important to Canada.
