Bitcoin kicks off new quarter in the old $82,000-$85,000 price range

Prices briefly topped $85,000 on Wednesday after weaker-than-expected U.S. inflation cooled bets on Fed rate hikes, But bulls couldn’t hold the move and spot ETFs didn’t help.

Bitcoin's soft-inflation pop to $85,500 fades as bond yields refuse to fall

A cooler-than-expected PCE report sent bitcoin briefly above $85,000 on Wednesday. Treasury yields held near their highest since 2002 and the gains drained away.
