In our best-of guide, commerce director Rachel Fletcher says that these are so good that they stay in rotation as part of her top five sheet sets. “That extra-soft feel paired with the lovely, cooling properties make them feel like the luxury sheets that they are,” she says. Even though she’s had the same set for five-plus years at this point, she says they are just as strong and soft as when she first got them.

Contributor Kristi Kellogg adds that these sheets are “buttery, breathable wonders that make you feel like you’re drifting off to sleep in a five-star hotel.” The sheets are made of top-tier, organic cotton and are completely chemical-free. According to the brand, bamboo viscose fibers are more hollow than cotton, allowing more air (and heat from your body) to pass through while you sleep. They’re “super light and airy,” says commerce editor Audrey Lee, making them ideal for layering in cold months or for hot sleepers. They also suit her minimalist bedroom—the neutral and patternless color variations suit a simple and clean aesthetic.

Contributor Megan Wahn says that these are so supple that she thought they were silk (without the crazy price tag) when she first laid on them. “They’re silky smooth but maintain a comfy coziness distinct to cotton,” she adds, calling herself Eloise at The Plaza whenever she slips in this set.

It’s a favorite of contributor Yelena Alpert, who was quickly wooed by the brand’s smooth cotton percale. “I pair these with the percale cotton duvet cover and a light duvet insert (Buffy Air) and sleeping is literally a dream,” she says. “It’s just this super light bedding that feels ultra luxe even though it is quite accessible.”

Just the thought of these sheets makes Alpert excited for bed because of how refreshing and refined they feel and look. “Cheesy as it may sound, it makes me think that these are bed sheets made for a princess—airy and luxe,” she says. “The long-staple cotton is more durable than typical cotton, and I can tell that these are woven tightly.” Arguably the best part is that these sheets don’t look wrinkly like other materials like a Supima cotton that tends to micro crease. But if you want something that looks super crisp, you just need to steam it to give it a structured look.

“Soft, even plush, doesn’t begin to describe the texture of Boll & Branch flannel sheets,” Alpert tells us. Spun from 100% organic cotton, Alpert likens the feel to “the inside of your favorite sweatshirt.” The material itself falls in the medium-heavy weight category, a good note for anyone who sleeps particularly hot or prefers a sheet that’s more whisper-thin.

Though, its cozy, almost winter throw blanket-like quality is what Alpert particularly appreciates. “This bedding puts me in the best mood,” she shares. “I swear, it might be the trick to surviving the cold, dark days of winter.
