At Supercell, we’ve always believed that the best teams create the best games. Today, some of the most vibrant creative energy and unique cultural narratives in the world are emerging from Africa. Better Games Together strives to support the LGBTQIA+ community within the Finnish games industry. One of the highlights of our joint efforts is Helsinki Pride, and we’re proud to continue our sponsorship and support for the fourth consecutive year.

With this year’s Pride Month just around the corner, we wanted to take stock of how Better Games Together started, where we are now, and our aspirations for the future. 

As gamemakers, our mission has always been to create unforgettable experiences that entertain, bring joy and connect people with each other. We believe that striving towards a diverse, inclusive and equal representation amongst our industry, teams and games, brings us closer to that goal and enables us to make Better Games, Together.

Announced at Slush 2018, the new school is supported by a strong lineup of Finnish tech companies and opens its doors for the first semester already in 2019.
