  1. Select chips within the 1–100 range and place your bets on the roulette table.
  2. The Undo button cancels your last action. You can undo multiple actions by pressing the button several times.
  3. Press the Clear Bets button to remove all chips from the table.
  4. You can see the total amount of your bet in the “Total Bet Amount” section.
  5. Press the Calculate button to see the results.
  6. The results appear inside the cells covered by your bets. The number displayed shows how much you can win if the ball lands on that number or outcome.

Explanation of Roulette Payouts

As you’ve probably already noticed, when using our payout calculator, roulette bets have different payout rates. Each of them is unique and fixed depending on the version of the game you’re playing. Roulette payouts can be described either as the payout ratio for each bet or as the total payout at the end of a round. Below, you’ll find information about all payout values for fixed (standard) bets, as well as a detailed explanation of how to calculate a payout manually.

How to calculate payouts

It’s actually not that difficult. In roulette, the formula of X:1 is used to define what a roulette bet payout is. The formula basically tells you that “1” is the player's bet, whereas “X” is the payout of the specific type of bet. If you want to get a clearer picture of how this works, just consider these examples:

  • 17:1 means that the player gets 17 units for each 1 unit they wager. So, if you bet $10, the payout is $170. Why? Because 10x17 is 170. It really is that simple.
  • 1:1 means that the player receives 1 unit for each 1 unit wagered. So, if you bet $100, you can expect to win $100 or 100x1.
  • In addition, if you win, you get your bet back. So if you bet $100 on red and win, you get $100 in net winnings plus your $100 bet.
  • To recap, the formula is very simple. The left figure tells you how many times your bet will be multiplied. So, if you have 8:1 as the payout of your current wager, then you multiply your stake by 8 to find out what the potential payout stands to be.

You also need to know that the payout will equal all your winning bets. So, if you have 2:1 and 35:1 and both win, you will get the payout sum for both of these wagers.

* Payout1 or Payout2 or Payoutn are winnings of separate bets

Example

  • Your bet is $100 on red, $5 on corner (4,5,7,8) and $25 on 3rd dozen.
  • So, your total bet amount is $130
  • Your winning number is 5, so you won both red and corner but lost a dozen bet
  • So, your net payout = (100 x 1) + (5 х 8) - 25 = 115
  • In addition, you will get back the amount of your original bets that you won, i.e. red and corner. So you will get back another $105
