You can broaden the formula and include computations for the house edge. This is very useful if you are unsure about the house edge for a specific roulette game. You can use the following calculations:

You can also combine the above two calculations and use one extended formula with the following layout:

To make things clearer, let��s use actual numbers in the examples above. Imagine you are a casino player who wants to bet on European roulette. If you place a ₹30 bet on a dozen, you will be betting on twelve different numbers. In European roulette, there is one single zero and a total of 37 pockets on the wheel. With this information, your calculations will look like this:

$\mathrm{RTP}=100\%-\left(\right|-0.027|\times 100\%)=97.3\%$

Check our table, and you will see that the percentage is the same as in your calculations. So, you can find an RTP for a game even if you cannot find this information on a casino website. However, you should get the following numbers:

• What is the type of roulette game, and how many numbers does the roulette wheel have?
• Probabilities for different bet types.
• How many numbers will cover your bet?
• How many yodo u want to stake?

The calculations work for all types of bets, and they have fair outcomes. The percentage remains the same for different roulette games. To illustrate this, let’s look at another example with real numbers. In this case, you bet ₹10 on a split, which requires two chips and pays out 1:17.

This time, you will make a street bet, which means you need to place three chips. Remember, these bets pay out at 1:11, and the roulette wheel has 38 numbers. Let’s place a ₹15 wager:

Special Rules

American Roulette: Basket Bets

American roulette has special rules, including the option for basket bets. With this bet, you can place a wager of five chips, and the payout is 1:6. Although basket bets might look good, they actually lower the game’s return to the player. Let’s see how this bet works with a ₹20 wager:

However, they offer more wagering options, adding excitement and increasing the betting options available in the game.

Multipliers and Straight-Up Bets

Multipliers are becoming more popular in casino games, including roulette. Most games follow standard rules, like those in European roulette, and players can find different multipliers that increase their potential winnings. These features usually apply to straight bets, but there are other options, too. For straight bets, payouts can reach 1:35. With multipliers, you can potentially get up to x1,000 to your stake or even more. It is clear that bets with these multipliers can lead to big winnings. Because of this, some game developers lower standard payouts for bets without special features, which affects the game's overall RTP.

In this game, the return to player is below average unless you use multipliers. The developer claims the RTP is 97.10%. However, our calculations show a different percentage. One reason for this difference is that roulette games with extra features may have varying RTPs. These can also change based on your choices and circumstances.

French Roulette: Even-Money Bets

French roulette is very popular in casinos because of a special rule called La Partage. The game uses a European roulette wheel and follows standard rules. The La Partage rule applies only to even-money bets.

If the ball lands on zero, you can get back half of your bet, which is a nice advantage.
