Payment methods & transaction speed
Playing with real money requires you to make both deposits and withdrawals. These need to be completed not only quickly, but also smoothly. To make sure of this, we analyze the payment systems according to four different criteria.
Available options
This means the methods you can use to make deposits or withdrawals, and we expect to see a great variety here. You should be able to choose what suits you best from many different options, such as credit cards, e-wallets, mobile wallets, voucher codes, and blockchain. Also, casinos that support methods that are common in South Africa, such as Mobiamo, PayU, 1Voucher and Klarna score higher than us.
Transaction speed
We have strict principles in this regard. We expect deposits to be completed instantly (within a few minutes at most). Withdrawals, when made in ZAR, must be completed within a maximum of 24 hours. If you use Bitcoin & altcoins, this should not exceed 2 hours. We do not recommend casinos that do not meet these time criteria unless they are exceptional in other respects.
Payment limits
We have a rule: the minimum deposit amount should be as low as possible, and at the same time, the maximum withdrawal size must be as high as possible. In this way, we ensure that both low and high rollers can get a range that suits them. In addition, casinos with no daily - weekly - monthly withdrawal limits get a much higher score from us.
Transfer costs
You should not pay any fees for making a deposit - period. If a casino charges a fee for deposits, it will not be recommended by us. We are not so strict about withdrawals, as we are aware that with some options (e.g. wire transfer) there is nothing the operator can do about fees. However, we also expect to see at least a couple of fee-free withdrawal options.
