Legacy countries top every passport ranking. But each one could be a regrettable mistake for the wrong profile. 🇺🇸 US practices citizenship-based taxation that follows you everywhere 🇸🇬 Singapore bans dual citizenship locks you into one jurisdiction 🇬🇧 Brexit stripped British citizens of EU settlement rights We spent years researching the perfect passport combination. And the two strongest are 11,000 km apart with zero overlap. In other words, maximum global freedom. Together they unlock 190+ visa-free destinations, 6 settlement blocs, and favorable tax incentives.

The Latitude Group CEO Eric Major explores the potential effects Argentina’s upcoming citizenship by investment program will have on the investment migration market.

Let me go on record: 🇦🇷 Argentina’s upcoming CBI program will dominate the global citizenship market. These are the 5 reasons why: 1. Unrivalled settlement rights 🏡 Thanks to the Mercosur Residency Agreement, Argentine citizens can obtain residency in any of its 9 member states with just: - A birth certificate - A clean criminal record Two years later, they can convert that to permanent residency and then citizenship. Mercosur covers nearly 4x the EU in area, has 400M+ people, and every imaginable climate. A single citizenship that opens up an entire continent. Just like Malta used to do, but at a fraction of the price. 2. Top-tier visa-free travel (that is harder to attack) 🌎 Visa-free travel isn't the alpha and omega that it once was in this market, but it's still crucial for many. Argentina has more visa-free access than any other CBI country: 168 visa-free destinations, including the Schengen Area, China, and Russia. And while micro-state passports can be flagged by immigration authorities, nobody bats an eye about Argentinian passports, even if the name in the document is non-European. And the EU can’t pressure Argentina as easily as it can micro-states. It’s too big, too self-sufficient, and too independent. 3. Arguably the most livable CBI country 🏔️ Taste is subjective, but Argentina caters to every taste: - Multiple climates and landscapes - European-style cities and culture - Low value-adjusted cost of living - Excellent private healthcare and education - World-class culinary and wine experiences You can live well in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Patagonia, or never set foot there and still benefit. It works both as a home and a backup. 4. The ultimate Plan B location 🛡️ - Far from global conflicts - Low population density - Self-sufficient in food and energy - It's even safe from nuclear winters! - Natural defenses (Andes, Atlantic, Gran Chaco) If things go sideways globally, Argentina is a fantastic place to have a flag planted. 5. A free country that's getting freer ⚡ Even when it was socialist on paper, Argentina's low state capacity made it very free in practice. Under Milei, it is also becoming free on paper. - Deregulation at record speed - Fastest modern reduction of government spending "But Argentina has high taxes and makes you declare global income!" This is only a concern if you actually live in Argentina. And if you want to live in Argentina, there's no reason for you to spend money on CBI in the first place. And the tax environment is poised to radically improve under President Milei anyway. LONG STORY SHORT: Argentina will offer more and greater benefits than the rest. Argentina will force all other CBI programs to re-evaluate. Argentina will become the new market benchmark. Argentina will rewrite the market rules.
