Updated on November 1, 2026

This page lists the 1,000 websites that people in the United States visit most, whatever the domain zone: international services such as google.com or wikipedia.org as well as local sites in the .us domain zone.

The list is built from real-user Chrome traffic data for the country blended with NetAPI's own popularity signals. The traffic data is updated monthly, the order is rebuilt every day. The top 100 are shown below and the full list of 1,000 is available as a free CSV.

The global rank column shows each website's position in the NetAPI Top 1M, the free daily ranking of the one million most popular websites worldwide: 1,000 of the 1,000 websites are in it. 5 of the 1,000 use the country's own zone, .us.

Methodology

  1. The traffic data comes from the Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX), Google's public dataset of real-user Chrome traffic. It places every website into a popularity group for the country (the roughly 1,000 most visited sites, then 5,000, 10,000 and so on) and gives no order inside a group.
  2. Within a group, NetAPI orders the websites by a blend of two signals: the SEO / link-graph rank of the domain and how many of the domain's hosts (such as mail., market. or docs.) sit in the country's top groups. The two orders are merged with reciprocal rank fusion so that neither signal dominates.
  3. Hostnames such as www.example.com and m.example.com are counted as one registrable domain, keeping the best group.
  4. The list is rebuilt every day.
