100+ analysts got their time back Investment analysts used to spend up to a full day building one performance report. And that’s just preparing the data before the actual analysis starts. The old workflow was to open multiple apps, run Python scripts, format the PDF by hand in LaTeX, and check every single page manually. Something had to be done about it. Meet Alex Volkov JavaScript developer at DXC Luxoft. His team lead handed him a clear problem: investment analysts at a $6B global multimanager investment platform were drowning in manual work just to see how their trades performed. Aleksei built the PM Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting app end-to-end: from gathering analyst requirements to building interactive charts, PDF generation, and region-specific formatting. The app pulls historical trade data and visualizes it in tables and charts, showing how profitable and timely each trade was. Analysts and their managers use these reports to compare efficiency and build their plans. Now the same report takes minutes: set your filters, choose your data sources, and click. Charts, AI-powered conclusions, and a formatted PDF ready to download. However, the real change here isn't speed: it’s efficiency. 100+ analysts stopped fighting documents and went back to analyzing. 50+ portfolio teams now make decisions on better inputs. Apart from being a UX win, a cleaner report means a better decision made by a human who finally has time to think. This is what we call engineering that matters. Today, DXC and Anthropic are announcing a multi-year global alliance to bring AI into the mission-critical enterprise systems and platforms DXC operates for the world’s largest enterprises and governments. With it, DXC becomes one of a select group of Global Premier partners in the Claude Partner Network. Together, we will develop new domain-specific AI solutions for key industries, including insurance as well as cybersecurity, application services, and modernization as a service (MaaS) solutions. We are also establishing a dedicated DXC workforce of Claude-certified, forward-deployed engineers and builders who will be embedded directly within customer environments to accelerate agentic AI transformation. This alliance further deepens our existing relationship. Claude already powers DXC OASIS, our AI-native orchestration platform for managed services, now in production with more than 50 joint customers and expanding across DXC’s global customer base. Using Claude models, we accelerated DXC OASIS software delivery by an estimated 10x, with more than 95% of code generated prior to human review. Not all healthcare workers wear white coats. Some write algorithms. DXC Luxoft engineers work on software that makes people's smiles healthy and beautiful. Orthodontists use it to define where a patient's teeth are today and where they need to end up. From there, algorithms calculate the intermediate stages of movement — how each tooth shifts, in what sequence, within the mechanical and anatomical constraints of that specific patient's jaw. The number of stages depends on case complexity: how many teeth are involved, how far they need to move, and which clinical operations the doctor has specified. It could be 20, 64, 79 stages — it varies with every case. Here, algorithms and specialists don't work in a fixed sequence where the machine calculates and the human approves. The relationship is iterative. Sometimes the algorithm proposes, and the specialist adjusts. Sometimes the specialist acts first, and the algorithm checks the quality of their work. The direction can go either way. That loop continues until the plan meets the required standard — because what starts as a scan ends as an object manufactured to fit one specific patient's mouth. The engineer never meets that patient. But everyone in that process — the doctor, the designer, the developer, the manufacturing team — knows who the real customer is.
