Combat Medic Sustainment Division (CMSD) – Formerly Army EMS
The Army EMS program has transitioned to the Combat Medic Sustainment Division (CMSD). Many Soldiers and leaders may still search for “Army EMS” when seeking information on sustainment and recertification. This page serves as a bridge to ensure they find the correct resources. CMSD is a division under the Directorate of Simulation.
For assistance or official guidance to include contact information, visit the CMSD Policies Page (NIPR connection required).
Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTC)
The Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTCs) provide state-of-the-art medical training to enhance the readiness and proficiency of Army medical personnel. MSTCs support 68W Combat Medics and Combat Lifesaver (CLS) training, offering realistic, scenario-based training that integrates medical modeling and simulation. MSTC is a division under the Directorate of Simulation.
Capabilities:
- Advanced patient simulators for trauma and medical interventions
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training
- Hands-on skills sustainment and certification courses
- Pre-deployment medical training (TIERS II, III, and IV)
For more information including locations and contact information, visit the Official MSTC Page (NIPR connection required).
