• The top 12 players in the Warcraft3.info Elo rankings are invited in descending order; any vacancies are filled by the next eligible player in the standings.
• The four players with the lowest match point totals each season are subject to a one-season hiatus, with replacements selected based on the current Elo rankings.

• Top 6 players are matched with bottom 6 players through a draw.
• Every match is a Pa5 with ¥ 270 ( ≃ $ 40) for each map won.

• Winners of days 1 and 2 are paired against each other.
• Every match is a Pa5 with ¥ 300 ( ≃ $ 45) for each map won.
• No player is eliminated.

• Losers of day 3 play a round robin.
• Every match is a Pa5 with ¥ 300 ( ≃ $ 45) for each map won.
• The top player advances to day 6.
  • Tiebreakers:
    • Match wins
    • Head-to-head score
    • Map wins
    • If still tied, a Bo1 round robin is played. If that doesn't help, the stage is decided by a draw.

• Winners of day 3 play a round robin.
• Every match is a Pa5 with ¥ 360 ( ≃ $ 54) for each map won.
• The top two players advance to day 6.

    • Map wins
    • If still tied, a Bo1 round robin is played. If that doesn't help, the stage is decided by a draw.

• Every match is a Pa5 with ¥ 500 ( ≃ $ 75) for each map won.

• Players are ranked by the total prize money they earn in the competition.
• In case of a tie, the players split the WPL points.
