Chandrasekhar C L reposted thisChandrasekhar C L reposted thisA ₹999 ROBOTICS KIT BLINDED AN 8-YEAR-OLD. STILL THINK CHEAP IS SAFE? It was supposed to be just another school project. An 8-year-old in Gujarat built a small robot, excited and proud of what he had made. Moments later, the cheap lithium battery exploded. The blast left him blind in one eye. This wasn’t an accident. It was neglect. In the rush to be “STEM-ready,” classrooms are filled with unsafe, untested robotics kits coated with lead paint and packed with flammable batteries, all sold cheap in the name of innovation. “Cheap, Cheaper, Cheapest” has become India’s most dangerous slogan in education. And it’s costing your children safety and their sight. A device meant to spark curiosity left a child scarred for life. Yet the conversation is still about who sells the cheapest kits. Cutting corners has become normal. Overheating batteries, uninsulated wires, soldering irons near young children and safety is ignored. Every parent and teacher should ask: → Who certified this STEM kit? → Are batteries safe? → Are teachers trained for electrical hazards? When you chase “cheap,” you are gambling with what no price can replace: your children’s safety, their vision, their future. It’s time India raises its standards. Safety is not a luxury. It’s the foundation of learning. Is “cheap STEM” worth risking your child’s safety and future? #linkedin #edtech #STEM #STEAM #safety #India #innovation #tech #education #nanoskool #science

Chandrasekhar C L reposted thisGlobal Capability Center Solutions.Chandrasekhar C L reposted thisIf your 2026 roadmap includes building an engineering hub in India, there’s a faster, lower-risk way to do it. Traditional GCC setups take 9–12 months to become operational. A pod-first GCC model can go live in weeks, not quarters — without locking you into scale before outcomes are proven. GCCBase enables this through a DBOT model — Design → Build → Operate → Transfer — delivered with: - one SLA - one governance layer - real-time visibility across hiring, compliance, and facilities What this unlocks: • Faster time-to-value: operational in 3–4 months • OPEX-only start: begin with a focused engineering pod, expand to a full GCC as outcomes validate • Unified accountability: technology-led operations with compliance-by-design • Lower setup cost: 30–40% reduction vs. fragmented vendor stacks • Ownership on your terms: seamless transfer of team, IP, and operations when ready Let’s de-risk your India build and accelerate outcomes.

Chandrasekhar C L liked thisChandrasekhar C L liked thisI’m so glad my son did not listen to my advice. This week his startup Clueso raised $10 Million in Series A. Backstory: Prajwal completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in June 2022. He also received the prestigious gold medal for Most Outstanding Student of the Batch (proud father, naturally!) during the convocation. He had an offer from a top tier product company with an enviable compensation. As a Gen X parent, I strongly encouraged him to take up the offer. But Prajwal had other ideas up his sleeve. He had built an award-winning startup (Desklamp) in his third year of studies and then pivoted to Clueso in the final year where he got selected for the renowned Y Combinator cohort. He did not try convincing me out of my advice on a steady job, he plainly told me he would like to pursue the more risky (in my eyes, not his!) entrepreneurial route. And boy, was he proven right!!! Clueso has grown from strength to strength in the last three years, and today boasts of 1000+ customers as a leader in the Agentic video creation and editing space! So proud of you Prajwal and grateful that you had the conviction of charting your own course! Hearty Congratulations to you and the Co-Founders Akash and Neel on reaching the Series A milestone – you all are a formidable team to reckon with! Aim for the stars while remaining grounded is all I would wish! PS: More details on Series A at the link in the comments. And don’t miss watching the short quirky ‘Netflix Documentary’ there, partly created using Clueso itself!

Chandrasekhar C L liked thisChandrasekhar C L liked thisBack from three days at AI Engineer NYC with Laxman, and one phrase followed us from room to room: software factory. Nobody was arguing about which model is best. Everyone has the same ones. The talks were about everything around the model. One speaker had data from over 1,000 companies. Switching models barely changed what teams shipped. What changed it was the engineers, and the skills and context they had built up over time. Another team talked about modernizing a legacy system. No magic. A few people in a room, a written playbook of the system's rules, and a habit of asking a human whenever the AI wasn't sure. I'll admit, I was nodding a lot. 😄 We've been working this way for about a year now. We understand the requirement and the codebase before anything gets generated. We plan the change. We use one model to plan and another to build, because they're good at different things. And nothing merges without a review. Old systems get one extra step. Our Business Rule Extractor reads code nobody fully understands anymore and pulls out the business rules that were never written down. Those rules become the tests that protect every change after that. Good to hear the rest of the industry landing in the same place. The models will keep getting better whether we help or not. How your team works around them is the part you own. How is your team setting this up? #aiengineering #softwarefactory #techleadership

You’ve built. You’ve experimented. You’ve pushed boundaries. And you’ve shown us what happens when you put new tools in the hands of a curious, creative community. Our second GET IN THERE visit is here. This Saturday, a small group of curious teenagers will step into Violin Technologies. Most young people see finished products. Very few get to see what sits behind them: circuit boards, cable harnesses, precision parts, sheet metal, system integration, quality checks, sourcing, designing, manufacturing decisions, and the people who make things work before the world ever sees the final product. That is why Violin is such a meaningful workplace for learners to experience. Again, GET IN THERE is not a field trip. It is not career counselling. It is not an internship. It is a simple attempt to let young people see how real work happens before they are asked to choose subjects, colleges, careers, and futures. Our first visit to Montra Electric showed us something clearly: teenagers notice deeply when we trust them with serious spaces. Now, we move to Violin Technologies Private Limited Technologies, founded and led by dear friend Venkatanarayanan Lokesh. Raaji Naveen and I are inviting curious 14 to 16 year olds to apply. For those who have already applied, please check your inbox. As always, we can take only a few learners into each workplace. These visits work best when the group is small, prepared, curious, and ready to take in what they see. Apply here: https://lnkd.in/gSHSgzwR GET IN THERE Step inside. See more. Imagine wider. #getinthere #beyond8 #learnerdesignedfutures #dreamdaredo

Most leaders say they want strategic thinkers but they train people using slides. What if the future workforce is not trained… but played into existence? Play is often misunderstood as something casual but research shows it builds creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making - the exact skills organizations struggle to develop. Games create something traditional learning cannot: → Safe failure → Real-time decisions → Iterative thinking In short: people don’t just learn what to think. They learn how to think. This is what I explored in my recent publication: “Playing the Future: A Play-Based Framework for Workforce Transformation through Creative Games.” It’s a structured way to rethink how we build strategic capability in teams. If you're building leaders for tomorrow, this might challenge your approach. Link in comments. Curious - would you train your team using games? FYI - The image is not AI-generated. #LeadershipDevelopment #StrategicThinking #FutureOfWork #LearningAndDevelopment #DecisionMaking

Government-sponsored skilling programs (like Naan Mudhalvan under TNSDC) run differently from private EdTech deals. The sales cycle isn't really "sales" — it's compliance, coordination, and delivery at scale across dozens of institutions simultaneously. What I've learned: in B2G, your biggest asset isn't your pitch — it's your operational discipline. Vendors, trainers, infrastructure, and reporting all have to move in sync. Anyone else working across B2G and B2B simultaneously? Curious how you switch gears between the two. #B2G #EdTech #GovernmentPrograms #InstitutionalSales

AI can provide answers. But great teachers do something far more powerful — they inspire students to believe in themselves. The future of education isn’t AI vs. Teachers. It’s AI + Great Teachers. Technology can make learning smarter. Great teachers make learning meaningful. The real opportunity is to use AI to empower teachers — not replace the human connection at the heart of education. What role do you believe AI should play in the classrooms of the future? #AIInEducation #FutureOfEducation #EducationLeadership #Teachers #EdTech #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureSkills
