Cracking DSA, One problem at a time.

About us

FinishDSA is built for students who start Data Structures and Algorithms with motivation, but lose momentum halfway through. We focus on one real problem most platforms ignore: consistency. Instead of overwhelming learners with endless content, FinishDSA helps students actually finish DSA through structured roadmaps, guided problem progression, accountability systems, and intelligent nudges that keep them moving forward. Our goal is simple: • Help students stop restarting DSA • Reduce drop-offs and burnout • Turn scattered effort into steady progress FinishDSA is not about shortcuts or hype. It is about discipline, clarity, and completion. We are building for students who are serious about improving their problem-solving skills and want a system that supports them from start to finish. If you believe finishing matters more than starting, you belong here.

𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 FinishDSA. 🤍 For the people who are hearing about this for the first time, FinishDSA is a platform I built to help students actually finish DSA instead of just starting it a hundred times. It's gamified, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, and it's made keeping Tier 2/3 college students in mind because that's exactly who I was. For everyone who's watched me talk about this for months now, this next part is for you too. For the past few months, I've been sitting with one question. How do I make sure every single person who has even just visited the site actually gets something out of it? Because our audience isn't one type of student. Some don't know what DSA even is. Some know it but freeze when it's time to actually solve a problem. Some don't know how to code at all. Some are already pros. Some solve problems just for fun. 😭 We've reached around 100K views/impressions across our content, social media, website and blogs over the last few months. And we've crossed 750+ 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐃𝐒𝐀. For me, both numbers mean something different. The 100K tells me that we're getting the problem in front of people. The 750+ tells me that some of those people are actually willing to try what we're building. And honestly... that's enough validation for me to know there is something here. Now comes the harder part. What exactly do these students need from us? So here's the first step. I want you to fill out this form for me at FinishDSA.com Yes, even if you're a complete newcomer. 𝑬𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆. You will get something out of this too, I promise. Just be honest with your answers... that's all I'm asking for. This will help me understand where you're actually starting from and build the right path for you specifically, instead of putting everyone through the same generic journey. We have a LOT planned for FinishDSA, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦... 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Fill it out, it takes two minutes. Help me build this better. 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. 🤍

Exactly one year ago... If someone had told me I'd be standing on a stage launching my own startup... I would've probably laughed 😭 Because all I had back then was an idea... a lot of confusion... and the willingness to keep showing up. Tomorrow, I'm launching FinishDSA at Founders' Friday x Business Showers. 🥹🤍 This isn't just a product launch for me. It's a launch of every late night... Every pivot... Every bug... Every "will this even work?" moment... Every conversation with students that changed how we built the product. FinishDSA exists because I was that student who opened 10 DSA resources and finished none of them. So we decided to build something different. A platform that gives students a clear path instead of more confusion. Tomorrow, I finally get to share what we've been building... along with some exciting updates about where FinishDSA is headed next. If you're around, I'd genuinely love to have you there. Whether you're a student... A founder... A builder... Or simply curious about what we're working on... Come say hi! 🤍 See you tomorrow at Founders' Friday x Business Showers 🚀 👉 www.foundersfriday.in #BuildInPublic #FinishDSA #StartupJourney #EdTech #FoundersFriday #EdVenturePark

I think most engineering students are not inconsistent because they are lazy. They are inconsistent because preparation feels lonely, endless and confusing. One day you’re motivated. Next day you have 17 tabs open. One sheet says start arrays. Another says learn graphs first. And suddenly you’re “preparing for placements” for 8 months without actually feeling prepared 😭 So I thought… what if we made this fun? What if preparation felt less like suffering alone and more like a challenge we all do together? So here’s the deal. I’m a CSE student. And for the next 60 days, I’m publicly challenging all of you to beat me at DSA on FinishDSA😭 We both start at 0 on the leaderboard. Same roadmap. Same problems. Same 60 days. Difference is only going to be who actually shows up every day. And if you beat me to #1, you win: 🎁 𝑫𝑺𝑨 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒉 ⚡ 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉𝑫𝑺𝑨 𝑷𝒓𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 🤝 𝑨 1:1 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒕 I built FinishDSA because I was that student who kept opening resources and finishing none of them. So this challenge is not me “teaching” you. I’m literally doing it with you. Let’s see who survives the consistency game 👀 Challenge starts now: finishdsa.com #FinishDSA #BeatTheFounder #DSA #Placements #EngineeringStudents #BuildInPublic

Most people think students fail DSA because they are not smart enough. I don’t think that’s true anymore. I think students fail because somewhere along the way… preparation stopped feeling like a journey and started feeling like chaos. Too many sheets. Too many random problems. Too many tabs open. No sense of progress. No finish line. And honestly… that thought is what slowly became FinishDSA. We launched FinishDSA V2 🥹 And this version feels very personal to me because for the first time… the product feels alive. It’s not another problem bank. It’s a journey. 250 problems. 10 islands. Each island built around patterns that actually connect and build on each other. You don’t randomly grind questions anymore. You conquer territory. One island at a time. And my favorite part? The AI does not just tell you “wrong answer.” It tries to understand where your thinking broke down and helps you fix it. Almost like having a senior engineer sitting next to you at 2am trying to explain things without judging you 😭 And the roadmap adapts to you. Struggling with trees? It notices. Doing well with arrays? It pushes you ahead. Your path becomes your own. I know we still have a veryyyyy long way to go. Still bugs. Still improvements. Still learning every single day. But today feels special. Because somewhere between confusion, pivots, self doubt, late nights and “will this even work?”… we built something real. 👉 https://finishdsa.com Would genuinely love for you all to try it and tell me what you think 🤍 #FinishDSA #BuildInPublic #DSA #EngineeringStudents #Placements #StartupJourney #EdTech

Almost 5 months of working on FinishDSA and honestly the one thing that keeps me up at night is still the same question. Why do students start DSA and then just... stop. Not because they're not smart. Not because they don't want to crack placements. But somewhere between "okay i need to learn arrays" and "why is this leetcode problem making me feel stupid" they just drop off and I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Like what if DSA didn't feel like a grind. What if it felt like a game. Like actually defeating monsters, leveling up, clearing stages... Sounds a little unhinged maybe. But also... does it not make sense? Still experimenting. Still brainstorming. Nowhere near done with this thought but I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. If you're someone who started DSA and quit, what made you stop? and if something felt more like a game would that have changed anything for you? Drop your honest thoughts below, I'm actually reading all of them.

I've been thinking about why most DSA learners quit. It's not laziness. It's not lack of resources. It's because every platform treats a beginner and a stuck intermediate the exact same way. Here's your 450 problems. Good luck. FinishDSA started as a structured roadmap to fix that. 250 problems. Clear path. No noise. 450+ students picked it up. Zero marketing. But structure alone isn't enough. What if the platform could tell where you're struggling before you even realize it? What if the next problem it shows you is the exact one you need, not just the next one in line? That's what we've been building. Something is changing at finishdsa.com. If you've ever felt like DSA learning was designed for someone else, not you... this one's for you. 👀 something big is coming. #FinishDSA #DSA #BuildingInPublic #EdTech #AdaptiveLearning #StudentDeveloper #IndianStartups #WomenInTech #ProductLaunch

I watched a 2014 Stanford lecture yesterday where Dustin Moskovitz, co-founder of Facebook and Asana, spent his entire time at the podium telling a room full of aspiring founders: don't do it. I expected inspiration. I got something better. Honesty. A few things from that lecture that I haven't been able to stop thinking about: Sam Altman framed startup success as a formula: idea × product × team × execution × luck. Every factor multiplies. Which means if your idea is a zero, nothing else saves you. Not the grind. Not the team. Not the pitch deck. Dustin's point wasn't to discourage anyone. It was to filter. He said the only real reason to start a startup is if you cannot NOT do it. Not for the money. Not for the title. Because the problem lives in your head and building is the only way to make it quiet. That one line reframed everything for me. I made a carousel breaking down the 5 biggest lessons from that lecture. Sharing it here because I think every early stage founder should sit with these before they raise a round, hire a team, or write another roadmap. The last slide is a little personal. You'll see why. #startups #foundermindset #buildinginpublic #ycombinator #howtostartastartup #startuplife #entrepreneurship #lessonsfromfounders #tashifalearning
