Somewhere between debugging alone at 2 AM and actually pitching my work in front of people, I realized the ones who get noticed aren't always the best coders, they're the ones who know how to talk about what they built. And ever since I got started with my backend using node.js I thought creating CLI tools like Calculator, and Unit Converter was really easy. Until i came across API calls and "axios", it was the part where i realized it's harder than i thought. I believe Fetch and promises are easier and i can get better at "axios" and "API calls". 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩! Two months ago, I turned a lifelong passion for technology into my first step toward a career in tech. Today, I've built multiple web development projects.. learned from countless mistakes and discovered that getting into tech isn't about being a genius it's about taking the first step. After a comprehensive deep research and critical reasoning we decided to start interviewing "interior designers" *Not really we just picked a random niche to get started with , because it doesn't matter if it's the best decision to make the only thing that matters is to take "the" decision anyways here's the plan we are going to execute now : - Scrape all the data that is available on the internet to get a basic understanding of the business (So we can actually question something sensible) -Give them a Cold Call -Approach them and get their interview hoping doing all these will get us some real market data so we can analyze it and fix real World problems. Me and my fellow boot camper Md Ruwaid at Code For India Foundation are starting our new project to create custom ERP solutions for the above niche. Where we will research and collect data not just about our current project but the pain points of these businesses in general. we will document the journey and share our experience and data we collected to find better solutions for this niche. it's not my first time doing something for this niche, I actually used to work with one of the Interior designers myself. generating leads and finding new clients for a luxury interior design firm. I reached out to 40-50 builders and developers here in Hyderabad and got ghosted, rejected, and ignored 9/10 times. Having a good network in this field is what get your business moving. I learned a lot from my previous experiences and it will help me and my partner in our current journey. This time I will be studying how ERP systems work, what they are actually used for the most, how to improve them, and how to make them efficient. To be honest, I am a little nervous but still have more confidence than before, while starting this project. Md Ruwaid let's not waste time and get started with this as soon as possible. - Let's do the cold calls. A lot have changed since I last posted something on LinkedIn. I don't want to address everything in this one post, or else it'll be way too long. The thing is writing a LinkedIn post always felt like a chore to me, but right now I need all the social presence I can get. I'm currently trying to build my first Start-up. and i only had two failed ideas that didn't work, which is a really small number by a ling shot. all I am trying to do right now is to Fail. fail enough times. apart from my current journey of becoming a Full Stack Developer I have started this new side quest of founding a start-up. I have already completed fundamentals of JavaScript and got started with HTML and CSS. also created projects using DOM. anyways I'll be posting more and more content on LinkedIn soon. this is just a post for me to just get started with stuff.
