You proudly tell people where you work. The company is you. You are the company. And then, something happens: The manager you trusted is letting you go. The company you loved is letting you go. Not because you were not good. Not because someone else was better. Just because... who cares now... Feels like a breach of trust. It breaks my heart to be that manager. The one who hired you. The one who trained you. The one who motivated you. The one who believed in you. I understand the business rationale. I can explain the reasons. But understanding the reasons doesn't make the pain any smaller. It also does not make your pain any smaller I cannot hide behind "business rationale." When you lead the strategy, you own the outcome, including the painful moments like this To the talented people we had to let go: I would hire you again in a heartbeat. Ronny Elkayam שיתף את זהWhen I was a young developer, I told my first team lead Gal Zimmerman that the system he built was sophisticated and very complicated to build. He said: "Nothing is really that complex. Writing code is just reading from files and writing to files." He was right. And I never forgot it. This helped me simplify things that at first seems complex. Now, as COO at Wix, I've been running an experiment with our AI agents: instead of routing everything through APIs and MCP, we're having them work with filesystems. Let the agents think that the complex world of our systems are just simple files. Same idea. Read, write, get things done. This is what agents do best. The results? Sharper conversations. More precise outputs. Less back-and-forth. Tasks just... get done. Completing a task is just reading files and writing files. There's something about filesystems that agents - like developers - seem to naturally click with. Context is persistent. Structure is clear. Complexity drops. We're still experimenting, but the signal is loud. Maybe the best upgrade we can give our AI agents isn't more tools - it's simpler ones. The concept of filesystem as api is now spreading fast in many of the things we do. Are we overcomplicating agents when the answer was there all along?

Ronny Elkayam שיתף את זהWhat are programs at wix.com? 18 months ago we introduced a new framework for managing projects across multiple teams We always struggled with dependencies and conflicting interests. Different teams with different KPIs were optimizing locally and it was hard to move huge projects efficiently We introduced Programs - cross company projects that have strict rules and guidelines. The framing did the trick. Another thing that did the trick is the introduction of a new profession in Wix called a program manager. One that knows how to drive such a complex project The last piece was that we insisted to have a single decision maker. One that can make any decision on the program Now, 18 months into the implementation, I can say that 2026 will be a great year for us. Mainly since we managed to get out of the way some big obstacles that were slowing us down. All thanks to programs that made it possible to move huge projects ahead. Ronny Elkayam אהבתי את זהRonny Elkayam אהבתי את זהיש לכם שבוע וחצי, תקציב דל, וחזון שאפתני. מה מבין שלושתם הולך להפיל אתכם? זמן. ובעיקר, כמה ממנו נשרף על תרגום המוח לנייר, על תיקונים במסמכים ועל חישובים מיותרים. ההערכה שלי: כ-60 אחוז. זה היה המוקש הראשון שניגשתי לנטרל ב"מותו של מתי כספי", סרט קצר עלילתי של שלוש סצנות דיאלוג בין זוגות. הייתי הצלם הראשי, ענבר גרבט ביים. לשם כך עיצבתי והטמעתי שני כלי AI: 1. ישיבת קונספט ויזואלי שמתומללת והופכת למסמך שעה ורבע של שיחה וליקוט רפרנסים. יצאנו לאכול, וחזרנו למסמך קונספט מאוגד, עם הרפרנסים בפנים. בעולם ידני זה כנראה 6 עד 8 שעות של כתיבה ודיוק. 2. תבנית שוטינג שמייצרת ברייק בזמן אמת המפיק מזין כמה פריטים כלליים על ההפקה וימי הצילום, והברייק נוצר לבד. בלי הזזות ידניות, בלי חישובים ובלי להילחם בנוסחאות בגוגל שיטס. מתוכה נוצר מסמך לסט, שבו מעדכנים זמנים תוך כדי צילום ומקבלים דו"ח מצב: קצב מתוכנן מול בפועל, הקדמות וחריגות. ההפקה הזאת הוכיחה לי שהמשאב שצריך למקד הוא הזמן, כדי לצמצם את הפער בין הרעיון למציאות. הכלים לא צילמו ולא החליטו כלום. הם חסכו את ההתעסקות, כדי שיישאר זמן וראש לצלם. אני צלם, תאורן וקולוריסט. אם יש לכם הפקה קרובה, אשמח לשמוע עליה.

Zenzap Secures $44M to Bring AI Agents Into Everyday Workplace Communication Zenzap has emerged from stealth with $44 million in total funding, backing its attempt to rethink how companies communicate with frontline and deskless employees. The Israeli startup was founded in 2022 by Guy Weiss, Jonatan Bien and Noam Neumann, with Weiss serving as CEO. The company’s latest funding includes a $33 million Series A, co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from The Garage. Individual investors include Wix President Nir Zohar and former EY executive Yoram Tietz. Zenzap had previously raised an $11 million seed round. Zenzap is positioning itself as an alternative to consumer messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage that are frequently used for workplace coordination. Its platform combines team messaging, task management, calendars, AI search, voice tools, transcription and workflow automation in one mobile-first environment. Its newest push is “multiplayer AI”, where employees and AI agents can work together inside shared conversations. Agents can access business tools, analyze information, update records and automate workflows, while companies control permissions and which actions require approval. Zenzap says more than 10,000 teams rely on the platform daily, with customers including FedEx, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Casey’s and Regal. With 50 employees across the U.S., Tel Aviv and Europe, Zenzap plans to use the capital to expand product development, hiring and international growth.
