Representing BDO throughout the events, Chen Herzog (Chief Economist & Partner) and Natali Gigi Kobi (Business Development Manager) actively engaged with delegates, led discussions, and strengthened cross-border partnerships. A quick look back at the highlights across the three days: • Opening Reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Jerusalem) – Kicking off the delegation alongside diplomats and business leaders. • Mare Med IV Conference & B2B Meetings at Herzog Fox & Neeman – Exploring joint trade and infrastructure opportunities. During the conference, Chen Herzog delivered a keynote on "Data Centers as a Regional Enterprise", highlighting the economic and technological synergies between our markets. • Reception at the Greek Ambassador’s Residence – An evening hosted by H.E. the Ambassador of Greece, Ms. Maya Solomou, deepening connections in a warm atmosphere. • IMEC Workshop at the Hilton Tel Aviv – A strategic bilateral workshop hosted by the Israel Ports Company (IPC) focused on realizing the potential of the Middle East Corridor. During the session, Chen Herzog presented the EMEC (Eastern Mediterranean Energy & Economic Corridor) as a practical and immediate alternative to IMEC, while Lihie Iuclea (Partner & Head of ESG) highlighted the critical environmental and sustainability considerations of regional corridor infrastructure. Eight months ago, seven Israeli #tech companies joined REACH Israel, each with its own plan. At our Cohort 2026 closing dinner, they talked about how far they’ve come, and how far they’re going next. Every team shared its story and the milestones it hit during the program. Advice went around the table, ideas got challenged, and help was offered freely. A few of our alumni joined too and brought the kind of lessons you only learn by living them. #Founders learning from founders, the way it should be. Getting there took more than a good plan. It took mentors in their corner, investors who told them what they needed to hear, a place on industry stages at home and abroad, and the Second Century Ventures network behind them. Most of all, it took teams who turned every opportunity into progress. To Beamware, HomePay, @Ladder, OASIX Energy, PlexAI, Vi-Soft and xREI: thank you for the hard questions, the honest conversations and the relentless work. Cohort 2026 is over but being part of REACH Israel isn’t. Yesterday, at Bloomberg’s “Israel in Focus” Investor Conference, I had the opportunity to discuss this resilience, the vital role of a strong banking system in supporting future growth, and the transformation AI is bringing to our industry. Through our AI Center, we are already turning this vision into reality. Processes that once took days can now take minutes. David Kariv אהבתי את זהDavid Kariv אהבתי את זהשלוש שנים חלפו מאז ה־7 באוקטובר, אך הכאב, הגעגוע והזיכרון עדיין נוכחים בלב כולנו. גם השנה ציינו בבנק ירושלים את היום במפגש משמעותי לעובדות ולעובדים, שכלל הרצאות ותערוכה מרגשת. שמענו את סיפור גבורתו של ארנון זמורה ז״ל מפי אביו, ראובן זמורה, ופגשנו את חן אלמוג גולדשטיין, ששיתפה בסיפור חייה, האובדן, השבי ובמסע שעברה מאז אותו יום. מירי גד מסיקה מקיבוץ בארי סיפרה על תושייה, אומץ, אובדן והניסיון לשקם את הקיבוץ. במסדרונות הבנק הוצגה גם תערוכה לזכר האמנים שנרצחו בנובה. תודה לאמיר חודורוב מקים אתר ההנצחה בנובה על הסיוע בהקמת התערוכה. משפחת בנק ירושלים מרכינה ראש, מחבקת את המשפחות השכולות ומייחלת לימים שקטים, מאוחדים ובטוחים יותר. 🕯️
