Hi Inajd0101, welcome to Wikipedia. As a new contributor to the encylopedia, I recommend you focus on first improving articles of interest to you, such as Frankie Lymon and those related to him, and not worry about things like categories, image files, templates, etc. until you get comfortable with editing. If you end up creating articles, be sure to read WP:FIRST, and make sure anything you add to existing articles can be verified with proper sourcing. You should also use the available help out there for you. Most experienced editors are very willing to help out, so it's better to ask than try to figure it out on your own. Thanks and happy editing. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 19:22, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! And yes, I am working on Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers article only or anything related to that. Nothing else. Inajd0101 (talk) 20:30, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing the "Padre Pio" article

[edit]

@Inajd0101, I notice you've made several edits on this article. But there is a notice at the top of the article that says there is major copy editing work being done on it and so please not to make further edits till the notice is removed.

So accordingly I'd like to ask you to undo the edits you made but keep them to one side so you can add them if you still see the need at that point. Thanks. Augnablik (talk) 16:11, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings @Augnablik,
How are you?
So do I have to remove the eponymous category of Padre Pio? And also, I apologize for editing and not looking at a notice at the top. Plus, I haven’t edited the article’s biography, just added the eponymous category. Inajd Inajd0101 (talk) 17:04, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Inajd0101, your reference to an eponymous category "threw me," to be honest. I'd never heard of it in Wikipedia, but looked it up. If you're sure of what you're doing, just let it stay. But please don't do anything else till tomorrow, as I think I might be able to complete my copy edit by then.
If you've been one of the past editors of the Padre Pio article, I'm about to post a message on its Talk page that could be of interest — and then when I complete the copy edit, I'll announce that. Augnablik (talk) 11:44, 11 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Just to make sure that you noticed on the Padre Pio Talk page that the requested copy edit I was working on has beem completed and you can get back to work on it, if you like. Augnablik (talk) 18:41, 28 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Grzegorz Piotrowski when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Ways to improve Last rosary before the assassination of Jerzy Popiełuszko

Thank you for creating Last rosary before the assassination of Jerzy Popiełuszko.

Good topic and research, but from a notability standpoint this article should probably be merged into Assassination of Jerzy Popiełuszko.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Unusual Redirects

[edit]

Hello, Inajd0101,

Please, please, do not make redirects with overly long page titles in foreign languages like Błogosławiony ksiądz Jerzy Popiełuszko (Agnieszka Przekupień, Marcin Januszkiewicz, and Michał Bogdanowicz song) on the English Wikipedia. I think the odds are 1 in 1 billion that one of our readers will ever type that phrase into the Search window. It also makes it very hard for other editors to find and edit pages with titles in foreign languages that are so long. I imagine you are doing this out of editorial inexperience but don't make wildly unusual redirects, even as a joke. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:34, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Just came across this article. It's completely inappropriate. The background section, in Wikipedia's voice, directly says the victim "was stabbed to death by 34-year-old Decarlos Brown while riding a train home from work." Guess they may as well cancel the trial, save everyone a lot of time and money. The article is sourced to horrible sources with a political agenda, such as Fox News. The style of writing is also unacceptable for an encyclopaedia article with sentences such as "on of the Wikipedia editors allegedly attempted to delete the entry regarding Zarutska's death, arguing that it does not meet the notability. Because of this, the outrage erupted among social media users..." This doesn't make any sense. AusLondonder (talk) 12:01, 15 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on We are Charlie Kirk, we carry the flame. We'll fight for the Gospel, we'll honor his name requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I am not trying to remove templates without a reason, I'm just merging them to the Beatification and canonization of Jerzy Popiełuszko article, but I'll be mindful next time. Thanks!
Best regards,

I'm seeing that you're blanking an entire section though? If you're intending to merge, you can just copy-paste it to your intended article. --- n✓h✓8 04:09, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Oh okay, I apologize. I'll keep that in mind. Also, it's never my intention to remove content without a valid reason, and I don't want to be accused of a BAD content forking. Thanks! Inajd Inajd0101 (talk) 04:10, 23 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Father Jerzy Popiełuszko Street has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established with substantive sources, an article on a street should do more than just state where it runs. A million roads exist in the world or are even a major road in a particular town, but why is this notable???

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Reywas92Talk 18:57, 21 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Donald Trump and the commemoration of Jerzy Popiełuszko has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Seems like WP:TRUMPCRUFT, especially if most of the article consists of a single Tweet. There is no evidence of any lasting coverage here, and the text can easily be incorporated elsewhere.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jerzy Popiełuszko assassination videotapes, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Magdalenka was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
