Simulon is here.
Studio-quality VFX, end-to-end, in one app for every skill level.
Watch Rexy go from 3D to reality in his first short film “Rexy to the Rescue!”
Made with Simulon on iPhone.
Available now on the iOS App Store.
The Future is Hybrid
Experiment 2: “Physically” pull back a tiny zombie in my hand like a wind-up toy, then release it to run across a real surface.
Workflow:
Simulon - Start/end states + shoot the running sequence (real-time, in-camera).
NanoBanana - create the “in-hand”
The Future is Hybrid
Experiment 1: “Physically” picking up a virtual 3D figure and placing it in a new location.
Traditional VFX: very difficult.
GenAI-only: no intention, no control.
Hybrid: used @Simulon to lock placement/scale/lighting + start/end frames, then use
There’s a metric ton of GenAI media right now being made fast and shipped faster. Stuff that consumes attention without earning it. At the same time, the possibilities of the technology are too exciting to ignore.
So I’m starting a Substack series: The Future Is Hybrid.
Check out this detailed breakdown of this Crocodile walk cycle which was rendered/composited in real world footage using @Simulon
I have tried to include all the steps from Rigging to final render in the app itself
You can get Simulon from the App store :

more @Simulon love; the blender scenes you get from the cloud processing *are the literal scenes used for these high end auto-renders you see form the tool*.
This means you get a full comp setup, incl. denoising, motion blur etc - to tweak as you will.
This tool's insane.
Life is wild. A month ago we launched @Simulon to the world and today I’m discussing VFX + AI workflows with the Prime Minister of India.
You really can just do things.
Had a fruitful interaction with Indian origin tech entrepreneurs in Johannesburg. They talked about the work they are doing in sectors such as FinTech, social media platforms, agriculture, education, healthcare, medical devices and more. Called upon them to deepen their
Simulon has just opened up to the public!
The app allows you to shoot, track, HDRI light, and render in your iPhone using its LiDAR 🤯 So you can take 3D models, composite them into your scene, and it lights everything really nicely using the environment you're shooting in.
I think we just built the most insane 3D VFX workflow.
Precision reality editing with @Simulon + Blender.

Will share a BTS
Lighting is key to creating believable VFX. @Simulon generates accurate 360 hdr lighting in seconds.
But there’s something much stranger going on in this video. The chrome ball is being moved through the world as if it is actually there.
How do you think this is possible? 👀
We’re kicking off the new week w/ a special Spaces today at 7 PM ET (4 PM PT), so more of you can tune in with us.
We have @diveshnaidoo joining us to talk about the recent launch of @Simulon - the 3D VFX platform redefining creation.

So cool seeing Simulon featured on CGWorld Japan 🙏
We’ve always been huge fans of Japanese creators.
This is a fan-made render I created of @kowyokoyama’s Ma.K. mecha - shot when the JMSDF visited Cape Town. The crew lost their minds when I showed them.

Artists will always test the limits of every feature. Here’s another example of an insane rigid body sim shot on location with @Simulon.
@voidzto with the infinite grocery glitch 🤯
Btw, you can import 3D rigid body simulations and film them on location with @Simulon.
Here’s a really cool example of this by artist vacades. Full breakdown on IG.

Been seeing a lot of people posting their @Simulon tests (like @smearballz) and the results are pretty insane. Check out how in this metal ball example the reflections look pretty dang accurate!
