This incident has been resolved at the root cause layer for several days, and it seems that residual DNS cache layers have now cleared. All Bitly Links and Codes should be operating as expected.

We continue to monitor this issue w/ several ISPs showing resolution. If encountering this issue, DM us what ISP (Internet Service Provider) you are on when you report the issue. We are working w/ affected ISPs to get the erroneous DNS entries cleared from their caches.

We’ve received reports of intermittent DNS resolution issues due to residual caching from a recent provider outage. Issues should resolve over next several hours. NOTE: While you may see interruptions in bit.ly links, your audience may not.

We are currently experiencing an issue that is impacting any j.mp links that were created on the Bitly platform many years ago. We are working to resolve this but don't have an ETA yet - it may take on the order of 24hrs or more to resolve.
