In an effort to utilize more of the tree, we created a new look based on a traditional European style of flooring.

This dynamic floor consists of 7 ½" x 15" hardwood tiles that are composed of ¾" wide individual sticks and two thin embedded wire backings—boasting a solid 7 mm wear layer. The tiles aren’t constructed with glue so the hardwood can breathe easily—this enables optimal mobility and prevents gapping issues.

Made from 100% locally sourced and manufactured materials, this product is perfect for your next LEED project. While this flooring technique was popularized in Europe 50+ years ago, we strive to promote Zena EdgeGrain™ in the U.S. as an eco-friendly hardwood option that utilizes the waste left behind when manufacturing our Wide Plank hardwood flooring.
