About the store
With over 20 years of experience in education, I bring a deep understanding of how children learn, communicate, and grow across developmental stages. My background spans general education, special education, and speech-language therapy, giving me a unique, whole-child perspective when supporting students with diverse learning and communication profiles. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings—including public schools, early childhood programs, and private practice—supporting students with speech and language delays, social-communication differences, and learning challenges. I’ve collaborated closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design interventions that are practical, individualized, and meaningful in real classroom contexts. This breadth of experience directly informs the resources I create. Every material is grounded in evidence-based practice, shaped by years of hands-on work with students, and designed to be flexible, engaging, and easy to implement. My goal is to provide tools that truly work—because they’re built from what I’ve seen succeed with real children, in real learning environments.

Teaching style

My teaching style is grounded in DIR®/Floortime™ principles and a constructivist approach, with a strong emphasis on meeting children where they are developmentally and emotionally. I prioritize connection first—following the child’s lead, honoring their interests, and building engagement through shared attention and meaningful interaction. With every lesson, I intentionally support multiple learning styles, including auditory, visual, and kinesthetic modalities, so students can access content in ways that feel natural and empowering. Rather than focusing on rote responses, I create opportunities for students to explore, problem-solve, and actively construct their own understanding with guided support. Through responsive scaffolding, emotional attunement, and flexible instruction, my goal is to help children feel safe, supported, and confident as they develop communication, learning, and self-advocacy skills. Learning happens best through relationships—and every resource I create reflects that belief.
