It's not about the quality of the answers. Google doesn't care about that. What they care about is
1. the ability to circumvent copyright law through rephrasing by LLMs
2. not allow businesses to appear in the results/answers without paying them
Everything else is subservient to these.
Lol how will they survive on only 30m visits a month now...
I spend a good chunk of the year in Spain, I wouldn't want to "work" there normally but its a brilliant place to be if you can bring a job with you and ignore all the spanish bureaucracy :D
I doubt Amazon will even feel that seo hit - I dont even google something if I want something at my spanish house, I go straight to amazon. They've got 25% of the entire online shopping market in spain.
Sir yes. Very much pain 'asheur alyawm tmamaan kama yasheur lisan @disqus_LKQWej2Eyc:disqus baed 'an 'umein allaeiq fi muakharati bieumq shadid maratan 'ukhraa allaylat almadiata.
According to SEMrush, Amazon Spain saw a 22.66% drop in organic traffic.

Figures sadistic Googlers needed to turn up the heat. They obviously weren't getting off seeing enough pain on this one as these poofters hoped. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/be62f70ec0e2a8e384c1ec22aa7b47d8351447a09e77ae982e12ec5a721f0d82.gif
reddit used for ai search results... I dont know about that. I always found it odd that reddit was allowed to be in search results like that. Unless its used to gauge consumer thoughts on said product that the user searched for
Tools are saying massive drops for a website i work with but GSC, GA and manual checks don't match what the tools are reporting.
Is the tool data bloated and/or just wrong?
After 15 months, a positive sign. Recovery? I don't know...

Has anyone noticed that yes the tools are saying massive changes in the SERPs for a website you are following. But GSC, GA and manual checks of the SERP does not match?
Any more movement on your end? Maybe the next phase didn't really roll out yet or maybe it is more targeted? I see many of the tools are still pretty heated.
My conclusion is that custom domain in Blogspot is buggy, especially for subdomains.
The only SEO friendly solution seems to be... to not use the Blogspot custom domain and use a Cloudflare worker as reverse proxy with your personal domain. Details in link:

Google’s AI contribution pilot highlights the growing importance of quality content in AI search. Publishers should focus on SEO strategies, original content, and AI-driven digital marketing trends.

So, your thinking is flawed, and is exactly what Google wants you to believe, because it's virtually a voluntary surrender on your part, without even trying.

So again, please answer me this. How do I fight back without committing financial suicide? I'm an adult with an earning site, I need the income from it for my family.
It's the same with all workers vs factory owners. They're all competitors with each other. Yet, unions exist. So, your thinking is flawed, and is exactly what Google wants you to believe, because it's virtually a voluntary surrender on your part, without even trying.
Then again, unions exist and are effective mainly not because workers just tried to band together against factory owners, but because they elected politicians that passed laws that protected worker rights and enabled them to band together effectively. Without those laws workers in themselves would have been pretty much powerless.
The exact same thing is what's needed to reign in Google. Antitrust laws need to be enforced and new ones need to be passed. Using of copyrighted material for AI training without explicit permission has to be declared copyright violation. Company leaders need to be held criminally liable for copyright violations.
Only the latter will enable everyday people to step up effectively against Google and other mega corporations.
Google didn't lose three antitrust lawsuits and get fined billions of dollars all over the world because they are fair. One thing is certain, publishers are getting screwed. There's nothing like a thief telling publishers what their content is worth and their choice is to take it or get absolutely nothing.
Google needs to be broken up, ground into tiny pieces and sold off to pay publishers restitution.
