Which hero would you be if you lived in the Tevinter Imperium?
That’s what we’re looking into in this Age of Dragon Personality Quiz.
Now that The Veilguard is finally out after years of anticipation (and a fair bit of controversy), we thought it’d be fun for fans of this classic RPG to see it through a fresh lens—one that puts you in the shoes of one of the seven companions of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Old-school fans know Age of Dragon helped shape the way companionship mechanics are used in RPGs. So, when BioWare dropped The Veilguard, gamers were pumped for a deeper, more detailed system of forming alliances and romancing them. And guess what? BioWare nailed it. The revamped companions are more human than ever, looking, feeling, and interacting with you in ways that are both believable and engaging.
For this quiz, we’re focusing on the main companions of The Veilguard: Bellara, Emmrich, Harding, Taash, Lucanis, Davrin, and Neve. We’re doing this because the latest installment in the franchise brings characters that feel more realistic and easier to relate to than ever before. Now, it’s not that the older games didn’t have well-developed characters—they did. But the 2024 NPCs just hit differently.
Before you dive in, if you love RPGs like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you’ll definitely want to check out our other personality quiz for Baldur’s Gate 3, the game of the year and one of the most praised RPGs ever.
