5. How to Install ZenMate VPN Apps

The Windows interface looks clean and modern, with a large connection button in the center and a dropdown menu showing the available locations. One limitation is that you can choose only countries, not individual cities. For most casual users that will be fine, but advanced users may find it restrictive.

At the bottom of the app, there are four main sections: My Subscription, Settings, Used Traffic, and Notifications. The subscription section shows your plan status and the linked email address.

In Settings, you can configure auto-connect, startup launch, Kill Switch, DNS leak protection, and location monitoring. The interface language can also be changed to English, German, Turkish, Korean, Russian, or Spanish, which is a nice touch.

Once connected, you can view connection statistics in the traffic section.

We tested torrenting by downloading the Linux Mint distribution. Download speeds were very high, and the file completed quickly.
