Yes, certainly they are trying to protect from leaks. It definitely isn't concern over quality of the game and the possibility people will request refunds if it's a steep decline in quality. Always playing cover for corporate as usual

As someone who disdains many parts of rdr2 in terms of controls, movement, and shooting, I can still recognize it's a masterpiece. It's like reading an extremely long, well written novel that meanders on the mundane too often, yet I can still see that it is a great piece of art and that if you were to remove the mundane it wouldn't be as amazing as it is. The game asks you to go at its pace, it doesn't alter itself to fit your needs and some games *should* do that. Otherwise all we'd be left with is Archie comics at the library.

This game and it's devs are truly something special. I can see why there was such a concerted effort in western media to bury these guys and this game. They are doing things that western devs are capable of but simply won't due out of greed or complacency. Hopefully this wakes some companies tf up

I don't want anyone to lose their jobs but I can't tell you how happy I am to see fortnite falling on its face. This game has done irreparable damage to the gaming industry and it failing would serve as quite the wake up call to suits who make games by committee. The live service market simply has too many games catering to too many niches. It was bound to implode.

Funny how plenty of others say the exact opposite. It's obvious games journos can't handle the lack of yellow paint and guiderails. This game is going to be a massive success and build communities and further crater the trust games journalists seem so willing to sacrifice. Remember though, veilguard and marathon are excellent games right?! Imagine being so disingenuous when we can simply look at plenty of reviews that contradict all of the points made here

It makes one wonder why it's so important that highguard succeeds to game journos. Like, I've seen at least 20 articles from various sites trying to cover for this game when it is absolutely not worth anyone's time. I played it, it's less than mid, it isn't the worst thing ever but painfully bland. So why the shilling?

The women are too attractive, the art style is too unique, the combat is too fun and customizable, it simply isn't veilguardy enough, which is the ultimate representation of..*checks notes*.. "swag". I too am hip and with it my dawg, raise the roof and such!
